The GOP establishment has always had a monopoly on money, thanks to its unfettered access to the Wall Street donor class. As a result of this power differential, the Christian Right, while energized and mobilized, would be forced to sit when told to sit by the party’s big wigs. But those days are history.

Today, the Christian Right is armed with networks and pipelines of unprecedented levels of campaign financing. Its consortium of donor channels includes the Club for Growth, Senate Conservatives Fund, FreedomWorks, and a cadre of hyper-religious organizations such as the Christian Coalition, Christian Broadcasting Network, American Values, and the Family Research Council.

Later, this gem...

In reality, there is almost unanimous scientific consensus that climate change is real and is caused by human activity.

The whole article has a tone of hysteria, and a remarkable lack of concern for getting the facts right, which I found made for quite entertaining reading. One gets the sense reading it that limited government is what they truly fear. Especially when you see which 5 candidates they singled out...

"Bevin, who describes his life as being “built on a bedrock of strong Christian values,” is now leading McConnell by 4 according to the most recent Rasmussen Report poll."

Really? I've never seen that anywhere.

No, it's entirely made up. There was a poll that showed Bevin 44% Grimes 40% and McConnell 42% Grimes 42%. That doesn't mean Bevin leads McConnell by 4, the polls show Bevin trailing McConnell by 30 in the primary.

It underscores their hysteria, and also how little accurate or consistent information there is out there about the race. Also, the latest independent poll showed Bevin narrowing the gap rapidly - to 17% as of last week. VoterID results are also different.

Dangerous Christian candidates must be stopped. If they win they might put the domestic murder industry out of business. (Hardly any politicians have the guts to attack murder industry that kills foreigners, sadly).

Liberty candidates aren't part of the "Christian right." That's the point of them being LIBERTY candidates. They aren't theocrats like Rick Santorum or any of the other establishment candidates the GOP usually deals out.
