Russian Navy stops Somalian pirate boat, handcuffs pirates to boat and sinks it

In other words, I'd hate to learn that people were killed for simply being on the pirate ship if they were not themselves violent or looters, but were just trying to make some money performing a job for some menial income.
High reward, high risk. Just so you know, if you are only driving the get-away car in a robbery that ends up as a murder, you're as considered as guilty as if you had pulled the trigger. You don't have to enter the crime scene at all. It isn't fair, but that's how it works.

It is ok to use overwhelming against pirates on a confrontation but when the enemy is neutralized, it has surrounded blowing them up is unacceptable, it is murder.

Too bad... Good for the Ruskies... sink their boats, kill them all.

Those saying death to the pirates, i say foek yoe! There are two sides to every story. An anarchistic country inside a non anarchistic world brings some consequences. Who is killing the owners of the large fishingboats and those who dumped toxic waste on somalia's shores?

(yeah the vid is lefty and wrong on points)

But does not the get-away-driver typically have a reduced sentence, compared to the guy who actually brandishes the gun and murders people? I would think so.

it doesn't show anyone dying. This is about as real as the crappy Iran navy saying they are going to blow up a U.S ship.

I don't know how the Russian's actions were unfair. They were pirates, and the Russians decided to get rid of them. What else should they do? Pay them to not attack their ships? That didn't work out too well with the Barbary Pirates; the United States had to force them to stop capturing our vessels and enslaving the crews.

They decided that they weren't going to be victims of piracy. Not to mention, as the caption on Live Leaks explained, it was traditionally, the captains decision about what to do with captured pirates.
