Rush today

Bingo. He is already pushing Cristie.

As a side note, I caught a bit of Hannity tonight and he pissed me off. He was introducing Herman Cain (the winner of the Florida straw poll) as his upcoming guests, and mentioned Romney winning New Hampshire straw poll. He then said, "finally it seems these polls are beginning to mean something"

Asshole.

And now I hate him again. He got me close to only disliking him. Lucky I never watch his show or listen to his radio show. The guy is a ghost to me :).

Romney didn't win the New Hampshire straw poll!! Ron Paul did by a wide margin!

Rush Limbaugh's game is this. He bashes the Democrat President so he can get Republicans into office. Once they are in office,he then supports the previous democrats policies while at the same time blaming the previous Democrat President for the countries problems. Once the Reps are out, he then makes his big dollars bashing the present Democrat President. It is ONE GIANT SCAM!

It really sucks but a rush limbaugh endorsement would give Ron a boost like no other. A lot of the pundits like hannity and o'reilly have no real beliefs, they're simply cheerleaders for a political team. In 07 they were told that Ron Paul was somehow not on that team so they felt compelled to trash him, now that the party is changing they're in an awkward position when it comes to Ron. They don't want to take back everything they'v'e said and look like idiots but at the same time they know that the changing climate means they have to move more towards Ron's side.

I have to agree with you here. Rush is the gatekeeper.

I would like to see a chip-in for an advertisement on Rush's show for "Liberty Defined". Lulz... imagine Rush Limbaugh announcing that "Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul wrote the book on liberty. Read it today for only $24 or get your own autographed copy for $40." :D

HAHAHAHA this is the funniest thread ever.. Rush is a RNC shill, and has got caught for being such. NEVER will he say a good word about Paul. He's one of the "black out" mainstream media outlets. He will omit Paul from all presidential discussion.. and when he's brought up, he's bad-mouthed like there's no tomorrow.

He hates Ron Paul because he is establishment. He and the rest of the radio hosts will never like Ron because he doesn't support putting Israel before America and preemptively invading Iran. Also, they are staunch prohibitionists.

Except for late night radio guy Jerry Doyle, who is shunned by establishment and lefties and who talks a lot about Ron Paul. :) In a good way, of course. :D

He essentially endorsed Ron during the interview at LPAC :). I just hope he isn't dropped anywhere else. He was dropped in DC after he defended Ron. Also, he has a pretty large audience.

Rush is just setting the stage for Christie's entrance IMO. The peeps pulling the strings are managing this just like any competent corporation rolling out a new product. It's planned and coordinated for maximum impact.

Or maybe Sarah Palin? He likes her, doesn't he?

IMHO, there is no way Christie is ready for national prime time. He will implode like Perry. And Palin cannot defeat Obama. Neocon and she is just unwilling to educate herself and has rather a shrill voice that irritates at times. So who does that leave. Oh, how about Ron Paul? :D:D

Unfortunately, he probably knows Chris Christie is going to enter the race...He's priming all of his listeners.

I agree with Rush on damn near everything but where he loses me is on foreign policy and it's components such as GITMO and the Patriot Act and why he will never endorse Ron Paul.

It boggles my mind how conservatives could support the Patriot Act (not just Rush but most of his followers). Why can't they understand that the Patriot Act is most dangerous to gun owners, property owners, travelers, and anyone who has money -- which is conservatives more than liberals. I mean, Gitmo you can sort of rationalize because it's supposedly against "foreign terrorists," but the Patriot Act clearly applies to American citizens!

I don't understand why we all believe Christie will enter this race.
As someone who lives in NJ - I can assure you many people think he is NOT going to run.... INCLUDING his cabinet.

I can pretty much say it is still VERY highly unlikely. The hype is there - but I believe he's priming himself for 2016. (vs. Rand?)

Rush is a big Marco Rubio fan. he has said many times he wishes that Rubio would enter the race. I've heard him say he thinks that Rubio will be the next republican president.

Rand won't run in 2016. Why would he run against his dad?

:)

Dear OP

I can tell that you are young. Politics hasnt jaded you yet.

Trust me on this...Rush would rather see Obama get reelected than Ron Paul!

Rush is an evil and hateful warmonger. HE HATES RON PAUL.
