Said that the media is ignoring him, saying he is not a serious candidate.... "That should tell you something."

Interesting...

I know Rush would have some disagreements with Paul, but I've always thought he'd respect Paul's hard stance on spending/taxation/regulation etc.

Rush, unfortunately, has admitted today that he is a part of the MSM. He said that Paul has been ignored by the MSM because he is not seen as a real candidate. Then, he went on to ignore Paul in his comparison of the candidates on the abortion issue. Based upon him ignoring Paul and saying that the MSM ignores Paul, my conclusion is that Rush is part of the MSM by his proclaimed characteristics of MSM. Rush does not like Paul, b/c Rush is obviously in bed with the neocons on the war issue.

Who cares what Rush says? It's irrelevant.

Right up until the RNC, no one is going to come out for RP in the media.

Rush has been exposed as being co-opted by Neo-Convervatism. That is why he tried saying after the GOP got beat after the 2006 elections that he was not going to carry the water for the GOP anymore.

Just confirming your take on Rush, I heard part of his last hour today, after the Free at Last March. He even has the audacity to say there were no true conservatives in the race. If I could have, I would have reached through the radio and bitch-slapped the neo-con puppet!! He has NO RIGHT to lament the demise of the republicrat party with his non-support of this movement.

I'm beginning to wonder if support for Romney is actually code for "I support Ron Paul" instead.

I've been converting some neo-confused people with the following argument. Right now would you agree our troops are spread thin? (Yes they answer). I say OK. Ron Paul will bring ALL the troops home. We would then have 600,000 troops available to fight if the terrorists decided to fight us here. Plus we could reassign some of those people to border/port/coast guard duty and really secure us here. Then if any trouble happened and there was a declaration of war we would have more then 1/2 million troops rested up. They seem to get it.
