Today on Rush Limbaugh's radio program, Rush stated in effect that Ron Paul is mentally unstable. He was describing what the MSM news stories w/b if the various GOP candidates won the New Hampshire and/or Iowa primaries. He gave an example of the Rudy MSM story as, "GOP Voters Decide to Ignore Rudy's 3 Marriages." For Mitt, "Voters Ignore Mitt's Mormonism." And so on for the other candidates. When he got to Ron Paul, Rush said the story w/b "GOP Voters Decide to Ignore Candidate's Mental Instability." Apparently, wanting the federal government to abide by the terms of the Constitution makes one crazy and delusional according to neocon Rush Limbaugh. One positive thing tho', he finally did mention the $4 million November 5th donation tally altho' he had to snidely add that "no one can figure that one out."

I hate to admit it, bu this may be one case where bad press is much better than no press. He has a LOT of listeners, may of whom disagree with him, and there are many thousands of people who may have heard of Ron Paul's success for the first time today. Maybe some curious souls might want to try to figure out what's is behind the success that "Maha Rushie" is too dense to understand.

Savage calls Rush and Hanity Bush Bots for always supporting the republican establishment over conservatives.

Who takes the word of mindless

drug addict, he is no different than a street bum with a mic, lol. Rush the doctor shopper, a priveleged bum.

Well not too bad when seeing what he said about the other candidates, mostly because there dirty laundry and unsuitable characteristics are REAL. His one of Ron Paul's was personal opinion. He couldn't hit him with a fact so he tossed that one out there. It's like saying Ron Paul is crazy, but you'd be crazy to vote for any of these other guys too. But then, I probably am giving him too much credit.
I've always kind of liked Limbaugh because he's kind of crazy. Yes, he can be horrible, but he's a balance to people like Al Franken. I like Ann Coulter too. I don't agree with her on everything, but her books are hilarious and often eye-opening. And it's nice to see a tough old broad who isn't a ultra left-wing liberal. Both these people use the power of free speech without remorse... they're only words. So even though I have tossed aside my neo-con robes, there are still a couple people from over there that I hold some love for.

I don't think we should label people who use drugs for recreational uses as bums. You do realize that Ron Paul is against the war on drugs, don't you?

Recreational use? He went deaf

and almost killed himself? I am not talking the occasional usage at all, I am talking a menacing addiction, a danger to anyone around you. He is lucky he did not kill someone. Use anything you want but please do not tell me it does not kill the ole brain cells.

Thanks hard@work, I think a few thousand of us should send rush email with this speech copied and pasted.

:)

We just need someone to organize it. I'm just giving you guys the ammo. We can turn Rush. He is not truly a neocon, he just got sucked up into it unlike some of the pundits who own the neocon message.

Go get him!!!

Also I have to admit I love Rush. Hate him too, especially the misinformation he spreads. But I'll never forget his statement in regards to Olestra causing quick trips to the restroom.

"What, have you people never heard of MEXICAN FOOD?!?!?"

hahaha priceless truths in their own way.

I remember when Rush played that song about Peroy (sp) "They're coming to take me away hee hah" He helped to crush Peror (sp)

Uh, no. You better be quick to give a source with a statement like that. There is no evidence suggest that his drug use posed a serious threat to himself or others. You can see this page for information on his Oxycontin use. The only people who have died from Oxycontin use did so because they stupidly combined the ingestion of the drug with alcohol.

So you're saying that people only use drugs occasionally are good people, and anyone who uses them regularly is obviously menacing and dangerous to other people? Hogwash. Your comment about it killing brain cells just compounds your ignorance on the subject. Alcohol kills many more braincells than most drugs, but we don't call someone who drinks beer or wine with every meal or who gets drunk twice a week "menacing" and "a danger to themselves and others." Why? Because most of us realize that it is not the actual consumption of mind altering substances that is bad. It is the responsibility of the person under those influences to make sure they do not get out of hand and violate others' rights. That is where the line is drawn and as far as we know, Rush Limbaugh has never crossed it under the influence of drugs.

If you don't like Rush, there's plenty of valid attacks you can make against him. Making up falsities that are hypocrtical in the face of RP's campaign are unnecessary, to say the least.

So let's call him on it. Let's put him on the wall and make him state his beliefs 1 to 1 with Ron Paul's.

Oxycodone (Oxycontin) is an opiate that is basically the oral form of heroin. This is an addictive and dangerous drug - dangerous as in leading to deterioration of body through multiple biochemical pathways that will degrade muscle tissue and other such factors. Alcohol is also dangerous, and should not be the comparison that lies best for safety margins.

I do not condone him from using, but merely point out that it is not the smartest thing to do to yourself. What you can condone him for is his hipocracy with respect to drug use. He spews rhetoric against drug and drug users then turns to opiates for himself. This is, in the least, troubling.

"Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot"

It's not "dangerous" or "menacing" in the sense that the original commenter meant if a person is consciously choosing to put it in their body and they are not hurting anyone else. Is it wise for him to do? No! But does that make his role in society any less valid? Again - no! Should it be illegal? Hell no!

I defined dangerous as harm to your own physical body. If you swallow hydrogen cyanide it is dangerous because it will kill you.

When he goes on his stupid program and spews neocon bullshit and promotes the war on drugs it does seem to contradict his own personal views on the subject. He wants others to not have access to drugs to put into their own bodies, but he wants to have access to those drugs himself - because he sees himself as some function above society?

That is dangerous, to me. And, to you.

Guys, I was listening to today as well. Rush even thought a Bush-Bot, not as bad as Hannity, was making a JOKE about all of them.

What he was saying, was not what he believes, he was saying what the MSM would be saying if the Doc. won. Come on guys, we all have a sense of humor right??

Funny how CNN (evil liberal msm in neocon speak) has a more favorable opinion of Ron Paul than your average Neocon talkradio idiot (hannity, beck, limbaugh, oreilly). I wonder why?

You're only destroying your neural pathways if you keep listening to these morons.

The fact that he's hypocrtically against the war on drugs is an excellent point and one we should be quick to point to. Unfourtunately, the original commenter seems more intent on calling drug users villains than bothering to point out something more objective about Rush's drug use.
