I wish I could get past the mind numbed robotic callers to speak with Rush Limbaugh for a moment. I'd like to see him answer the following question.
He is personally responsible for pushing the idea over the last fifteen years, that Conservatism is defined as not paying welfare and social benefits to lazy assed people who won't work, correct?
Well why is it perfectly acceptable to ask us to send our sons and daughters overseas ( to pay with their lives and limbs) to provide "democracy and freedom" for a bunch of people, who WILL NOT GET UP OFF THEIR COLLECTIVE ASSES, AND FIGHT FOR IT THEMSELVES?
This war has gone on longer than WW II. Please don't hand me the crap that the Iraqi people, need SIX YEARS TO QUIT KILLING THEMSELVES, AND TO QUIT ALLOWING THEIR NEIGHBORING ISLAMIC FASCISTS TO QUIT BLOWING THEM UP.
How is it conservative on one hand, to say "You need to lift yourself up by your own bootstraps" when it comes to money, but it's just fine to say our youngsters need to "serve a cause greater than themselves" and happily send them off to die in order to provide democracy for a society that DOES NOT WANT IT????????
Cheer leading for the war, and claiming that Ron Paul was a nut, simply because he is smarter than the rest of the idiots running for the nomination, is the EXACT REASON we are looking at McCain being crowned by the media, as the God Damned Nominee of the Party.
