Rupert Murdoch requesting Twitter debate about Ron Paul

Rupert Murdoch is a very savvy man and if he senses a change in the mood of your country regarding Ron Paul then as a populist it could spell good news for the campaign.

Too many people take the MSM personally. To them it is just business. These companies are out to make $$$, just like us capitalists would want them to. They see a void, an efficiency, and they fill it. They hire characters to fill that void, and in many cases those characters actually believe what they say and in some cases they don't. To the powers that be, they don't care at all. It is about ratings and dollars.

RM may, or may not be, the biggest Ron Paul fan on this planet. However, you'd be a fool to deduce it either way based on the content of what is spewed in his media empire.

Its a business agenda, not a personal agenda. The fact is Ron Paul doesn't have enough fans, not enough eyeballs, to warrant good consistent coverage. Unfortunately we will get enough good coverage for the viewers of these stations to actually think that their stations aren't totally off the deep end. Nothing more, nothing less, until we get enough people to truly move the ratings needle.

These multi-billion dollar conglomerates have far bigger conflicts of interest than ratings... If you want to know why they ignore and ridicule Dr. Paul and us supporters, that's why.... He can't be bought and stands to end their gravy train ticketof getting the government to do whatever they want.

They could make Dr. Paul a rockstar, a contreversy, but it's not ijn their interest for him to be a part of the narrative, plain and simple. THe part that I agree with however, is there is a point where they cannot ignore anymore, and that's when you see them adapt.

Oh, and f' Murdock. That guy doesn't do anything without having an agenda.

I sent it to Tom Woods.

Well, I tweeted a couple of times, but no quick response. Meh. Maybe he's trying to up his followers.

I remember a time when RP was a constant guest on FOX News, as they discussed the economy.

Agenda's, real or imagined ... If they're talking about RP, it's a good thing ... PERIOD.

How do you even debate on twitter? It is hard enough to debate on "youtube" (albeit rather pointless) with 500 characters? How does one even debate on twitter whilst still appearing to understand spelling and grammar?

Umm...not much of a debate when you just post a question and then do not respond to anyone else.

Seems like he wants a debate with the anti Ron Paul people.

He's got nearly a quarter million followers, so it's a large platform.

Prolific Tweeter and Fox media mogul Rupert Murdoch is reading a book about Ron Paul and he would like to discuss it with his fellow social media enthusiasts.

“Just reading new book on Ron Paul. Fascinating. Ron sure model of consistency, right or wrong. Any tweeters wish to debate?” Mr. Murdoch wrote on his Twitter page a few minutes ago.

So far, Mr. Murdoch hasn’t engaged in any Paul-related discussion yet. A few minutes before he polled followers on Mr. Paul, he posted a rather cryptic, unrelated political observation.

“When? Women voting is best thing in a hundred years,” Mr. Murdoch wrote, a propos of nothing.

Mr. Murdoch’s interest is Mr. Paul is rather surprising. Many of Mr. Paul’s supporters believe the mainstream media, including Fox News, have ignored their candidate. Mr. Murdoch is pretty much the archetype of an establishment Republican, it will be interesting to see if his recent reading causes him to embrace some of Mr. Paul’s more libertarian ideas about drugs and banking.

Edit: In hindsight I wish I would of spelled words gooder. An excellent representation of Liberty is through the perception of being dumb if I do so say myself.

If he truly believed in sticking to the Constitution, his news outfit wouldnt have consistently done everything in its power over the years to prop up and propagandize the policies that have come out of pnac and the patriot act.
