RULE CHANGE: 8 States needed to be put into Nomination

And, what does this mean?
edit: what effect does this have on the 5 state RNC national rule?

Used to be you needed a plurality in five states to have your name out in nomination for president. Rules committee just changed that to a majority in eight states. Frustrating day here in Tampa

When does it take effect?

They're going to keep changing the rules no matter how many "gains" people here think we've made. And it won't end here. If more "gains" are made by 2016, they will only raise the bar higher to freeze us out again.

I guess they think we have stealth delegates. I thought that got ruled down in rules committee.

The rules can be changed in 2014 and they are cheating our delegates all out of seats in any event. So then the video-because-they-are-scared-of-a-speech-by-Ron is supposed to make this all good?

Our alliance for the rules committee in virginia is reporting it got approved .

That's why it is imperative to not just throw in the towel, and there should be a focus to replace the people who make the rules. We have seen the very beginnings of this take place during the 2012 campaign. Revolutionary change in a country as large and populous as the United States ain't gonna be simple and straight forward. Even if Ron Paul won the nomination and the presidency, it would still be an uphill battle to pass a lot of the reforms he would have done in domestic policy.

I'm officially done with the GOP. Sad thing is, most of the GOP "public" won't even realize that this has happened.

Somebody talk me off the ledge, I see this great ship, the US, nose diving into the ground by 2016. Doom and gloom I am.

Immediately.

The 8 state rule?

How can they do that? That's ridiculous.

How can anyone be expected to make an investment and then, when it's about to come fruition, the interest rate and dividend is changed retroactively to disadvantage you?

We have to make sure they know it, imho. the campaign is dead wrong. we can't let them get away with this or it will never end. But we can talk about it after Tampa.

We are clearly out gunned on every committee. They are passing everything they want against us.

This only goes to show that they are going to flip off the people and do ANYTHING they want. They are going to do anything they want and we can all eat sh*t. That is what they are saying.

Angry. Angry. Angry. Unjust. Fraud. Criminals. Tyrants. Traitors.

Please, whenever you can get with your source, post the names of those who passed this. Every single one of them has served on their last Rules Committee.

Does it make sense at this point to take over the Libertarian party and to then use the grassroots to start winning elections? The R's have wised up to what we were doing and are circling the wagons.

NO the libertarian party will never get elected. This proves we need to be more united and organized in the future. We did not have enough people on the rules committee. We are probably out numbered 10:1.
