RTC Endorsements by Candidate

Might I suggest to the original poster to also keep a running record of what percentage of endorsements each candidate has out of the number of endorsements that have been given so far?

In other words, 34 endorsements have been given out so far, and Schiff has won 6 of them, therefore, if the current trajectory holds, we should expect Schiff to win about 18% of the delegates at Convention. Etc. etc.

I don't want to run the stats every time unless they are requested. Also, I'm not the only one with a calculator. That being said, I will crunch the numbers later today.

Updated the initial post on this thread with a new map, tons of new stats, and yes... Schiff visited an RTC that had already endorsed Simmons, so there is now a dark-green spot for Norwich and this affected his ratios.

Out of the RTC's that Schiff has visted that have endorsed, 60% of them endorsed him. That is a promising number. If a similar percentage holds for the rest of the ones he's visited, he could do very well (much better than expected) at the convention.

Why are these RTC's taking so long to hold endorsement votes? I'm way past ready to see some more results posted.

Most RTC's vote to not endorse one candidate; rather, they decide to just allow each delegate to make their own decisions without the RTC making any sort of overiding type of decision.

Updated original post and map to reflect the following:
McMahon picked up 6 RTC endorsements and Schiff visited 2 additional RTCs.

Well, dammit,

I guess we have to wait till tomorrow to find out how Peter did with all those RTC speeches. I wonder if Linda paid the chairmen NOT to endorse before the convention so as not to let Peter build up any momentum.

A lot don't endorse simply because nobody likes being told to vote for someone they don't want to vote for. A unanimous RTC is a rare thing.

It's treated differently case-by-case with each RTC. Some RTCs require a unanimous vote to endorse a candidate while others require a majority or only a plurality. An endorsement does not force delegates to vote for a particular candidate, it only encourages them.
