Results thread for Ron Paul supporting candidates & others in 9/11 NH Primary

So how many NHLA senators and congresspeople are there now compared to previously (or rather, how many won their primaries and have the potential to win the general compared to previously)?

It looks as if we only lost a few races, so our incumbents had a success rate in the 90th percentile or higher. The most important races we did well in. The problem with the U.S. House seat challenges were the same problems that we continually face in all Federal races: Our success rate primarying incumbents is very, very low. Only Mike Lee and Kerry Bentivolio have had success. The former, however, had a ton of help and the latter only succeeded because of the fraud perpetuated by Thaddeus McCotter. Essentially: Attempting to primary an incumbent at the federal level is very, very difficult.

With the newly drawn districts, it is hard to say what the PVI is of each district, but it looks like we made modest gains. Hopefully Keith and stuff can expand upon that.

I will turn the primary recommendations page into a general recommendations page. I assume the NHLA and RLCNH, and possibility other pro-liberty groups, will come out with their own lists of candidate on the general election ballot. I'll make sure those lists are posted to the forum.

And Mike Lee was an Assistant U.S. Attorney as well as working for Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito. A LOT has to happen for us to primary an incumbent. Open seats are where it's at.

124 out of 145 of the Republican Liberty Caucus of New Hampshire endorsed or recommended candidates successfully advanced past the September 11th New Hampshire Republican Primary.

That means 86% of the RLCNH endorsed or recommended candidates were nominated as Republican candidates and will appear on a general election ballot on November 6th. The 124 candidates include 116 are candidates for state representative, 6 candidates for state senator and 2 candidates for executive councilor.

The list includes many people who endorsed Ron Paul such as co-chair of the 2012 New Hampshire Ron Paul Campaign - Sen. Andy Sanborn, Rep. Mark Warden, Rep. Steve Vaillancourt, Rep. Guy Comtois and Rep. George Lambert.

Heads up on Grafton County Sheriff race. Joshua Dickey ran a write in campaign for the DEMOCRAT ballot. The dems did not have anyone running. Still waiting on the results of that write in campaign.

rumor is that NHLA endorsed candidates won 90.3% of their races

i dont know if this is more or less than previous years but i know that they've raised their standard of who they endorse and make donations to

List of recommended candidates in Democratic primary. Note, these candidates are not liberty candidates. They were the least bad candidates in contested races in the Democratic primary in the 4 counties where recommendations were made.

He lost by 20 votes.

A pro-liberty candidates did win with a write-in campaigns, though. Another recommended candidate also won that way. Both candidates were trying to be includes on the 11/6/12 ballot as Republicans.

7 of the 10 pro-liberty candidates for NH State Senate made it through the primary.

114 made it to the general election ballot 83%
23 will not be on the general election ballot 17%

26 will not be on the general election ballot 18%

Joe Miller beat Lisa Murkowski in 2010.

Wasn't Lugar primaried out this year?

It's easier to primary out someone who the Conservatives really hate. Snowe dropped out of the race in Maine before the Primary. She probably would've won, but if there was a strong challenger, not so.
