I applaud her for following the dictates of her conscience.

This does, however, make an interesting contrast with the mainstream media environment here in the US. I don't recall any reporters for domestic broadcast or cable networks resigning during the frenzy of war propaganda that led us into Iraq. Indeed, one can hardly imagine Chris Matthews resigning over MSNBC's cheerleading us into Libya, as I saw someone point out on Twitter. An instructive contrast.

Fair point.

Now, when are the anchors at CNNNBCCBSABCMSNBCFOX going to do the same?

What's that you say?

They don't whitewash the actions of the US government?

Ron Paul being censored, a few of her questions to him were edited out, contributed to her decision. Amazing how censorship of Ron Paul spotlights the real truth in media.

RT is just a sideshow anyway... it's not one of the major Russian stations produced for domestic consumption, it's just meant to lure us disaffected Westerners in... they are simply saving face so that the sci-op can continue without losing all perceived credibility...

Here's an interview with Liz Wahl on Anderson Cooper

There's no way she's going to get a job at any Western mainstream network after she said that there "maybe" neo-Nazi elements in this conflict but that goes against the western msm narrative.

Hmm, maybe she really is a sincere, good intentioned person...

Towards the end of that Anderson Cooper interview, it started to seem like the cognitive dissonance was overwhelming his senses.

I wonder if he'll resign tomorrow?

I better not hold my breath.

It can be really hard to make heads and tails of all the psi-op publicity stunts.... and how bizarre is it that RT doesn't want a non-interventionist message from RP being broadcast? That suggests that their overall agenda is to draw in American troops... scary shit...

So like was she under the mistaken impression that Russian’s actually have freedom of speech in Russia?

Yes. And does RT not delay their interviews and live broadcasts by some number of seconds like other broadcasts in the USA so that they can be edited or diverted by "Breaking News:..." when needed?

Seems like a PR and attention move rather than principled beliefs. That or she must be really naive to the situation of the MSM in the US and the US governments own actions. Hypocrisy much? Shell probably move up in her career now with MSNBC/CNN or something. The fact that she said this on RT show they are more open then most other news agencies. With that said no one expected a government run news agency to be truly impartial and unbiased, if she didnt know this when she signed up shes stupid.

Putin isnt doing anything wrong. He is protecting people who have been oppressed from the government in Kiev, who dont want to be part of Ukraine.

I'm sure that both the CIA and Russian spooks were both in the Ukraine stirring this whole mess up to begin with... Putin is not some angel...

He was plenty non-interventionist. The interview that [apparently] aired was one of the best he's given to date. I'm glad they aired it. CNN would have had technical difficulties. Fox News would have been asking questions about gay hookers, and MSNBC would have completely forgotten about him, only to mockingly have his picture floating around the screen for an hour. And that's just the half, I'm sure you are aware.

Even if it is Russian controlled media, and even if they do sometimes pimp a narrative I don't 100% agree with, at least they air the truth at all. I wonder how many people had a realization from his interview?

Russia has plenty of land for them settle on.

Why should they leave their land? Anyway Putin isnt an angel I dont mean to say that but if I had to choose who was acting more morally in this situation it would be Putin not the west.
