RPF member SwordSmyth has died at 38

Swordsmyth was my main link to the RPF family. He would keep me informed of any major occurrences with posters here, such as illnesses, deaths, etc solely for the reason that we could pray for them. He always thought to include me in his projects. I saw him as a kindred spirit and admired his tenacity and struggle for righteousness and truth. Even if someone didn’t agree with him, you knew he was sincere and his feelings and positions were from a good place.

He had a yearning to keep others informed and to share things he felt were important and worthy to be shared. He ultimately wanted whatever was right and best and it truly seemed to me that his mission in sharing things, even thing others might not agree with, was always in the hopes of converting their hearts towards what he felt was good and true, towards a goal of unity and peace.

We will miss you, soldier. You fought the good fight and finished the race, my brother in arms.

May you now find the answers to all your questions now.

May you find the peace that you tirelessly worked for.

May you find the rest which you always hoped for.

You will forever remain in my prayers and in the prayers of those whom you have touched in this world.

Until we speak again, my brother, may you rest amongst the Saints.

That's tragic. You certainly wouldn't have thought that he was ill, given the energy he displayed on literally every subject.

Sword's brother says the funeral is going to be tomorrow (Saturday) at 10 AM (didn't give a place or timezone).

So far nothing online as far as an obituary or announcement.

Several folks in the Timeless Authors forum have been putting together some posts from the different online communities Swordsmyth was active in. He touched a lot of folks:

Good morning everyone. I have not visited for awhile due to life challenges that limit my time. But I felt I should drop in and thank everyone who appreciated Swordy. Thank you AF for giving everyone here heads up. I would like to share a little bit about what kind of person he really was from my personal experience. I met Sword here after a long hiatus away from RPF taking care of my family and my active business. Previously I was a member since back in the Daily Paul days.

So I decided to come and see what was up around here. As soon as I dropped my first post Sword hit me up and welcomed me. We hit it off immediately and it began a years long friendship between us. Before it was over he ended up being like a little Brother and my partner. Together we built a Forum on my existing domain Liberty Authors. He was a story gathering and posting dynamo... As we built it he filled it faster than I could create Forum Categories. I had never seen anything like it before...

And all while machine gunning RPF with news and comments, Discord Channels with posts, and who knows where else. He literally had an organized checklist of everyday news sources and places to go check in and participate. He was tireless and committed to his causes and beliefs. There just was no stopping his personal resolve and drive. I tried to keep up with him and there was just no way.

As we know he was headstrong and fought for his solid beliefs in certain ideology. And to some this may have been unappealing. But what a lot of folks did not know is that under all that fight and fire was a man who would jump to back up the little guy, and if you ever needed help with anything such as locating information he was right on top of it. He was absolutely selfless in this direction and volunteerism. Even If it took him days to find it.

His personal love for those he cared about was endless. If you were ill he would be the first to spend weeks researching causes and possible cures and getting them to you to try and help. You became his personal project whether you wanted it or not. I know some of you know exactly what I speak of. He would give out a lot of personal time and effort because he truly cared about you. Under that fight his heart was huge. Under that fight was a love for Kittens, Puppies, and wayward Humans...

In the same spirit of volunteerism I ran into some life challenges and family health issues that was going to cause me to give up Liberty Authors. I just wasn't going to have time to take care of it anymore so I was going to shut it down. Sword stepped up and decided to pick up the Baton and run with it to save the community there. He got a new domain and we moved it over as now Timeless Authors.

I am only sharing this history because I just recently found out more about how spread out in the world he already was. He did this kind act to save that community even though his plate was fuller that even I knew about. He just didn't bother others with those details about his life. Turns out he was deeply involved in at least five different forum community projects and families including the TA, and who knows how many more extended through the Discord channels he was involved in like RMS that Intrepid posted about.

And in all of these he was giving of himself and helping others relentlessly caring about them more than self. It was his MO, it was a persistent default script that could not be stopped. And while taking care of his personal family unit at home. I would like to share something someone created at one of those Forums. It pretty much sums up who he was well. It is from the Free Republic forum. As you also know he was deeply involved in the Q theory. There is a thread dedicated to Q on the FR where he built a following with his participation in that particular thread.

He was known there as Farcesensitive. And like the same in all the forums he was in he was family there too. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by so so many. Thank you Sword , you did good little Brother...

Anybody know his real name? Maybe there is an obit online....

Can one of you guys in Timeless Authors reach out to his family? Maybe just tell them we would like to do something for the family..... I would expect they will have a "Make donations here" or "Send flowers here" type deal.
Sword was a humble man and would never take contributions in any form. As his partner at Timeless Authors I can relay that his family is exactly the same. Everyone has been offering, and they have declined all offers so far. I can share that they absolutely do appreciate the heart felt sentiments though...

Nickers bumped a SS thread and for a moment it felt like he was alive again and then I was sad again :(
That has been an issue for us too. We are staring at all his posts over at the TA kind of expecting a new one any minute as it was for years...

The credit goes to @Dr.3D who first passed on the sad news to me.

I certainly hope I did not overstep any privacy boundaries by cross posting.

And I have, in the last few days, been gobsmacked by the accounts of the reach and depth of Sword's conversations, outreach, efforts and humanity.

I'm just a low grade shitposter by comparison.

Sword was a giant.

He will be sorely missed across many spectrums, and in the lives and communities, online and in "real life" of the people he touched.

May God grant him everlasting peace, anchored now, in the harbor of rest.

Maybe if I stand in he'll come back and correct me.

Into Thy hands, O Lord, we commend the soul of Thy departed servant and pray to Thee to grant him rest, O Lord, in the place of Thy rest, where all Thy blessed saints repose, where the light of Thy countenance shineth. Grant that our lives may be godly, sober and blameless, that we may be worthy to meet him again in Thy Heavenly Kingdom. For Thou art the Resurrection and the Life and the Repose of Thy departed servant, O Christ our God, and unto Thee we ascribe glory, to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. Amen.

To you and @TER Sword's brother shared this:

"The funeral was small but beautiful. On the coffin I placed the pictures offered by @clayton and the lady from Free Republic that @ATruepatriot posted here. In between them I placed a bunch of red roses with a sticker on them with the word "Freedom".

As a priesthood holder, I dedicated the grave as his final resting place and asked the Lord to bless it and keep it a hallowed place.
I then read many of the comments from his friends from various communities and finished by reading the prayers offered by fisharmor and TER from Ron Paul Forums. ATP, if you could thank them for me I would appreciate it."

🙂

Sword's brother read your prayer as the final act of the graveside service.

Amen, and thank you.

I am still processing the news of Swordsmyth’s passing. I just learned about this today and am mourning the loss of such a bright soul and passionate patriot. He was and is an inspiration for me and I will never forget him. His presence will be dearly missed. Fisharmor’s prayer is perfectly stated, and this is the prayer we should say for our beloved brother.

I humbly offer this following prayer for all of us who are mourning the loss of our friend.

Our Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your divine comfort for all those who are mourning the loss of our beloved friend and compatriot Swordsmyth.

Wrap these mourning children of Yours in Your loving embrace, Lord, and grant them peace admist their sorrow.

May Your presence bring solace to their souls, and may they find reassurance and hope in Your promise of blessed rest and eternal life to Your beloved servants.

Grant them strength of faith and divine patience as they await the joyful day of reunion with our beloved friend in Paradise, according to the fulfillment of your glorious plan.

For you are the Resurrection, the Life, and the Repose of Your dearly departed servant, and to Thee we ascribe glory, thanksgiving, and worship, to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages.

Amen.
And he read yours as well.

Although I see A True Patriot has already mentioned it before me.

I truly meant what I said, you have a gift for that.

Amen, and thank you.

I'm just hearing about it now, because I don't check this part of the forum. I had a feeling out of nowhere the last couple weeks, like, where's Swordsmyth been? After checking to see when he last posted, I shot another member a PM. He told me and pointed here.

I just wanted to say there was never any doubt his heart was in the right place, and he was a good guy, and he cared about his country deeply.
We did not agree on Donald Trump, but you're going to find that issue among millions of us. I once invited him to another forum I post on, because I knew he was a straight-up fellow and he made perceptive contributions.

RIP Swordy... God Bless.

He never really got personal, he would just stick to the topic.

You paint a picture of the guy on the other end of keyboard, behind that username.

I kind of associated him with the guy on his avatar.

I pictured Sword as a suit and tie business professional.
