RPF member SwordSmyth has died at 38

Hey what do you guys think about chipping in and sending his family some flowers? I would be in. Swordy was a solid member for a lot of years.

The place feels different already. @acptulsa and @Swordsmyth were the Abbot and Costello, I really enjoyed reading both of them and between the lines to gain different perspectives. Truly a pair in the best sense

I did mention to @Swordsmyth in another forum that there was never any hard feelings toward him and that I like to bar-room-brawl. He was good about that, so he knew before his passing that he was a-o-k by me [the statist that he was/is/always will be lol].

Damn, so young, too

I'm surprised and saddened to read this news. I didn't agree with a lot of what he posted, but I did appreciate the odd post that informed me of something new or interesting. We occasionally even agreed on something. I too figured he was a bit older. It's funny how you develop a mental image of internet acquaintances that you've never met just based upon their post history.

I first saw the headline without seeing his age, and thought he must have been older than I thought. But then I saw the 38. Wow, far too young.

Had no idea he was that young. For me he was a lot to take sometimes and we did share some private messages about the Timeless Author site he wanted to promote. As someone else noted he passed with Trump as president.

I am still processing the news of Swordsmyth’s passing. I just learned about this today and am mourning the loss of such a bright soul and passionate patriot. He was and is an inspiration for me and I will never forget him. His presence will be dearly missed. Fisharmor’s prayer is perfectly stated, and this is the prayer we should say for our beloved brother.

I humbly offer this following prayer for all of us who are mourning the loss of our friend.

Our Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your divine comfort for all those who are mourning the loss of our beloved friend and compatriot Swordsmyth.

Wrap these mourning children of Yours in Your loving embrace, Lord, and grant them peace admist their sorrow.

May Your presence bring solace to their souls, and may they find reassurance and hope in Your promise of blessed rest and eternal life to Your beloved servants.

Grant them strength of faith and divine patience as they await the joyful day of reunion with our beloved friend in Paradise, according to the fulfillment of your glorious plan.
