RP vs. Mitt virtually tied in this poll

fixed link

I am doing it right now....it takes 5 minutes to set up. Download the (link****click this here to PC macro program download******) Why don't you all get started since this literally takes no time at all. I didn't even have to read the help menu i just looked at the names of the buttons.

My recommendations. Use Mozilla firefox because you can disable cookies in that making the macro much simpler and faster. Then I think it's in options--> disable loading pictures\graphics (only text) so that giant NCCA bracket doesn't load but only the polls.

Then the macro posted is self explanatory.

You hit like control+alt+r to record the macro u make. Hit control+alt+r to stop recording too when you finish making yr macro. The you hit like control+alt+p to play it.

I recorded a minute long macro of me just refreshing the page, then i click the RP bubble, then i hit vote, then I repeat.

Then I went to the macro's options and found the mutlple loops and I set it to 10000 so I have 10 thousand times the 1 minute macro.

That would be like 40000 votes if I let it run all the way through, but I haven't decided if it's counting them or not.

Also note that control+r refreshes the webpage you're in mozilla (not part of the macro program but part of mozilla) so you can use that to make your macro faster with less mouse movements.

I can't run that macro program because I use linux.

I just tried using the firefox macro add on but it didn't work.

I'm macro'ing but no one else is.

I can vote maybe 10-20 times a minute, but the Romney ppl are going faster than that.

We need 3-4 ppl doing this, which no doubt the romney ppl have,

By blocking twiigs.com from your cookie list you can vote constantly without manually clearing your cookie list.

Just to see if that was what was going on, I deleted the NPR cookie, but it still shows my votes. Either I'm missing something, or they're spamming the poll in a different way.

macro's are working...we're gaining, but we need more than one or two people doing it only.

Also you don't have to hit refresh if you are blocking cookies and hit vote it will still count the vote but it will show that you actually hit view results so just his the vote link to be returned to the oiginal poll and vote again. This is much faster then refreshing.

Kay guys I don't know if it is counting the votes if you are blocking cookies and voting. I'm trying to find out how to make iMacro clear cookies after voting but having no luck.

That doesn't work for some reason. I don't know why

Funny observation - the Ron Paul vs Mitt Romney race has twice as many votes as the nearest "other" race.

Somebody should put the word out on all the NHLA and Free State Project message boards, as well as the Bill Maher message boards.

do the brackets look wrong or is it just me? number 1 and 6 would not play in the second round?

hifemyass

disregard weenis's post

For those who are confused about the cookie deal this is easy -
Go to
http://w2.hidemyass.com

and then enter the poll url
http://www.npr.org/news/graphics/2009/mar/bracket2012/

Then refresh the page to vote.

I don't condone this type of 'polling' but it's clear Romney has his well paid "Pieces of Mitt" out on the prowl working overtime.

That will change your ip, but it won't change your ip everytime. You'll still be using the same ip over and over (namely the ip on their end instead of your own ip), which is pointless since it will slow you down routing through them.

Just use your own ip, and the macro i posted.

If you want a program that will change yr ip every time use the tor anonymity project, but there is no sense doing that here since clearing yr cookies works just fine. Changing your ip everytime is just going to slow you down since this poll isn't recording ip's

Here's a good way to mass vote very fast. First get iMacros
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3863

Then in the record menu change the click mode to X/Y so it can submit votes.

Start Recording with this as your current page.
1. http://www.twiigs.com/poll/Politics/28332
2. Then Click Ron Paul
3. Then Click vote
4. Then click stop in the iMacros menu
5. Then go to the edit tab and click Edit Macro
6. Add CLEAR to the bottom of it(This will clear all your cookies, this might not need to be done and instead you can block cookies but better safe then sorry but better safe then sorry)
7. Save quit.
8. Go to the Play Tab
9. Change the max loop amount to something large like 9000
10. Click Play (Loop)

This should vote about 40 times a minute and will go until it reaches 9000 or the number you chose. It's a great idea to do when you go to sleep.

For further reference your macro needs to look like this but with different X/Y values
VERSION BUILD=6210320 RECORDER=FX
TAB T=1
URL GOTO=http://www.twiigs.com/poll/Politics/28332
CLICK X=481 Y=324
CLICK X=574 Y=344
CLEAR
