RP vs. Mitt virtually tied in this poll

Does that poll allow multiple votes?? Could Mitt supporters be voting more than once?

Nevermind. I went to the site and it showed that I had voted already. Then I cleared my cookies and files and tried again, and sure enough, it would let me vote again. So this means even a few dedicated Romney fans could sway the vote totals.

It probably goes by ip address.

It's possible, but I voted yesterday and this morning it still showed I had voted. That might lead to IP as factor. But clearing my cookies and files in my browser this morning would not change my IP address, but it did allow me to vote again.

How do you know it "showed that you voted"?

There are so many people voting every minute that you can't tell whose vote is whose.

There are a lot of Mitt fans out there. At CPAC in DC, the 2 largest draws BY FAR on the Friday events were Ron Paul and Mitt Romney, with lines out the door. When the Ron Paul mass of people left the huge auditorium, there was a huge line for Mitt, and they were young.

I guess they liked his support of torture and the bailouts?

I only voted in 2 of those polls. Those 2 showed up with the vote totals, but the rest showed the "vote" buttons, as if I hadn't voted for them yet. It would only know this with cookies.

I had a vote button appear, and I voted twice yet the vote totels number did not change yet it appeared as if it was allowing me to vote twice. You could click that thing all day, but you're only getting one vote per ip at least that's the way it seems to me.

Almost all polls such as these work by IP. Some of them work by both ip and cookies so as to have two methods of screening double voters. That way if someone changes his ip address but didn't clear his cookies, his vote might not get counted.

internet voting is so broken...
problem of trust. there should at least be a registration!

BUMP

Mitt - 47%

Ron - 52%

we are losing a little ground here

22,300+ votes though, i am surprised. Almost double all the rest of the candidates. This will be interesting to watch no doubt.

guys the Romney bots are clearly cheating. Romney doesnt have that much support online. theyre spamming the polls. what a joke
