Too many kids under the tent. It's no wonder we don't get the 60+ vote. We probably scare the hell out of the old ladies. Intrapersonal skills are sometimes lacking around here :(

If you want to aggravate Rudy, do it by beating him with votes, not by squeaking loudly. These adolescent antics lose us votes. Come on kids, have some class. The voting public will hold you accountable whether you like it or not. Calling it patriotism cannot drown out the squeak.

How about we do both? Have you forgotten freedom of speech? And I really don't believe having a gathering in front of a Rudy press conference is really gonna lose us votes - that's a really far stretch! If this is the only kind of press they are going to give us then I say we take it! And another thing, at least those people are getting off their damn computers and going out there to make themselves seen/heard. If everyone on this forum did they same I'd bet it'd be really hard for the media to ignore us. Anyways I'm sure I'm not the best patriot either, soooo I shall get off my ass and do more events this weekend =)

Ron Paul FTW~

If you think that being obnoxious does not lose us votes then explain our performance so far. And don't blame it on the media, Huckabee had 0 media exposure until he had voters.

Dont blame it on the media.... don't blame it on the media??? LOL.

Can't we be at least *a little bit* obnoxious? Come on..!

While I am not sure I like bad press. It is however preferable to no press. We do need to get off our asses and get Ron Paul some coverage that no other candidate can get. And make sure you let others know that no other candidate will get the free support that Ron Paul is getting. Let them know that we have more grass roots support then any other candidate combined by ten times. We are his coverage, try to get more of it for him!

People are going to do what they want to do, bickering on how people should conduct themselves is a waste of time.
Personally, I don't care. You do your thing, I'll do mine.

Yeah, alright. A little bit is good. And I guess "don't blame it on the media" is pretty stupid on my part. I apologize.

Look, going to other events is fine.
However, remember to be on your best behavior. Have literature to hand out. Win people over. That's why you're there. Not to make a spectacle and piss people off.

If they begin chanting Rudy, then chant Ron Paul. Other than that, let them do their thing.

For instance, some of the best things I've seen, is a quiet and large presence at other candidate's events, following the candidate around. It tells the candidate, you're a loser. It tells the people who showed up to the event that he's a loser, and your candidate cares enough to come show support for the opposition - Oh, by the way, here's a slim jim!!

Count me among that camp that supports being the squeaky wheel. The disruptive wheel.

Fight fire with fire. If the media insists on blacking Paul out... shed some light on the matter anyway you can.

Have you torn down a non-Ron Paul campaign sign today?

I hope Rudy gets booed every speech he makes from now until he drops out.

It's called civil disobedience, again as others have said.. it's a revolution.

No, its an election not a revolution, einsteins. We NEED the older vote and the punks are totally screwing us. Punks don't door knock and punks don't contribute max limit. Sign waving hecklers aren't going to win crap for us but a bad name.

Here is the footage:

That said, I do think Dr. Paul handled it very well in the interview.

I'm watching CNN reporting on a Giuliani event in Florida. You can barely hear the reporter over the yelling in the background, which the reporter informs us is a group of Ron Paul supporters trying to interrupt and interfere with Giuliani's press conference.

If I was an undecided voter in Florida, that classless performance would have given me a very negative view towards Ron Paul that would be very hard to overcome.

Quieting holding up signs to get in camera shots is one thing -- shouting down opponents and interfering with their freedom of speech is quite another. I can't say how this looked on the ground, but it was terrible on national TV. This didn't win us any votes and probably lost us some. Not an effective tactic.

It hurts Giuliani more because it shows that he is unable to deal with hecklers. Hecklers have always been a part of American politics, and always will be.

When ask what was the proper level of taxation, NY Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan responded:
"One dollar under revolt."

They have no idea how close they are.

Although I don't really like the rude aspect of what our supporters did, it did get us 5 minutes on MSNBC. Also, it was a very constructive 5 minutes. The reporter actually helped Dr. Paul get many of his ideas out. So for that, I am thankful...
