The Germans and the Russian's would have engaged in a hugely bloody war. Without the US coming to the aid of the British, Germany would have had a lot more resources to commit to the Russian front. It would have been a blood bath of Nazis and Communists, more so than it already was.

probably true, but the russians weren't going to keep Germany from taking over Europe. And like noxagol said, the Germans would have had a lot more resource to throw russia's way.
