I absolutely agree. If anything, the monumental win in TX-14 shows us that we've lost two or three weeks of real campaigning by wringing our hands over the Peden threat. It was never there, it really was a faux scare propped up by the neo-cons to divert Ron Paul and resources to Texas.
However, this also proves Paul is practically invulnerable in his own district. He has a high likelihood of running unopposed in November. There's no threat to his House seat if he decides to run as an independent.
