Ron Paul to answer charges on CNN!!!!

He also plugged the Jan 21 money bomb...guess we should give this one a little extra attention...

Oh yeah, my thought exactly when I heard this. I guess we better get him some money on that day!

And, I thought RP Rocked, he finally showed how upset and angry he was at all this! If I had been one of the "ghostwriters" or those that have been trying to rehash this time and again, I probably would have spontaneously combusted from his ire!

Ron and the Message of Freedom to the end!

I was also disappointed that he said he has absolutely no idea who wrote the stuff.

Who cares? All I wanted to know was Ron Paul didn't write it and doesn't condone it.

Another thing, if this crap was written by employee(s), the publisher, as an employer, might have legal issues to consider. Suppose the person is now a well known writer, and RP fingered him. The writer might come back with a defamation of character lawsuit or something like that.

Daron, only the die hard party people care about the spin. Everyday Americans can see Ron Paul is speaking from his heart.

That's what I'm not so sure about. I think he is perceived as unclear and angry in many of his speaking situations. This time he also came off as defensive. He has a great message but often it's not just what you say, but how you say it.

I agree we have to make it count since he plugged it on CNN!!

I'm registered and will be donating early! Remember to donate as early in the day as you can, momentum builds excitement in others and can lead to an even bigger total!

He did a good job. He stated clearly that no one else supports eliminating the war on drugs and that it affects minorities unfairly.

But you know what guys, many people do not support the war on drugs. Times are actually changing. I will give you two examples.

One of my friends I went to school with is now a police officer. I asked him about the war on drugs and he believes it is a waste of resources and the people who get arrested end up serving terms longer than convicted murderers.

Another person I know who is a customer at my job who is also a police officer also said that he thinks the war on drugs is utterly pointless at this point.

This issue could be huge in the future and from my personal experience I do not believe there is anywhere near the support for the war on drugs that there was in the past.

This is true, and if that position really got out, he'd have a lot more voters. It's a lie that there's popular support for the drug war. Even the elderly, the most conservative group among us, overwhelming believes medical marijuana should be available.

After seeing that interview I dont think Fox will bring it up tonite and give RP the chance to talk about his opposition of the drug war.

I thought I better back up my statements... it concerns marijuana, but that's a start...

Regular people polled from reliable organizations...

Many organizations like AARP on medical marijuana...

People not profiting from the drug war, for the most part, do not support it. Definitely not in the case of marijuana, and the links above show it.

I felt sad for him... he was clearly upset. I believe him. I think he did well.

Kudos to Wolf. This had to be done. CNN probably has their motivations, which democrat does Paul's success hurt the most? Oh yea, Obama! But I cannot object to what they did.

I think the interview was fair and maybe it helps put the issue to rest. Allegations will probably continue, and its not going to help us get votes though. Hopefully this wont hurt us SO MUCH now.

All in all....I think he just might be able to parlay this into an advantage. He just got some really good exposure. He was sincere, genuine, and his usual self (which seems to bother some people in here who apparently prefer style over substance.) And, he was able to put across some of his platform.
