***RON PAUL to ANNOUNCE OFFICIAL DATE****

I just got off the phone with HQ. Ron Paul will be announcing the date. They have a few groups doing research now. PLEASE STOP making WEBSITES WITH FALSE INFO!

so hold onto your seats until date is announced. :D

Just an fyi to everyone (and if you need to pass on to HQ).

Personally, I think that ronpaulmarch.com is the best web address, but in all the excitement last night (early morning) I also purchased constitutionmarch.com. I did this primarily to go with the June 21st date in case we decide on that or in case we really wanted to focus on Constitution theme. Anyways, just wanted to throw that out there so we know it's an option.

I'm just curious, there are a lot of people that would not be able to go that far, for a variety of reasons, would it not be a good idea to have a bi-coastal march? One in DC and one say in San Francisco? That way those on the west coast who wouldn't be able to travel that far would still be able to be a participant. The DC event would still take president and anyone who could go absolutely should but having a bi-coastal event on the same day would increase the participation and media attention I would think.

Thoughts?

I think that is an amazing idea!

I hope there are 1000s of sites promoting the date that Ron Paul picks.

Oops, meant to snag your quote on last post.

If it was done, then we'd need big screens at both (like they have at new years or 4th).....to see each other. Problem with it, it splits the focus on 2 event planning then...not saying it can't be done or looked at, but it is more difficult

Hey, if we had a second site...we'd need an host....

Is Carson Daly a RP fan, lol ;)

Well that would be fine but I was hoping for Rand Paul and Ed Griffin at the very least.

Also agree that having the two marches see each other would be a good thing but we could survive if we didn't have that. KISS so that we have a good turn out and doesn't become a logistical nightmare! Not that I know anything about organizing something like this.

They'd love that. Divide and conquer.

That idea was floated before, and it's a good idea, but it's specifically NOT what Dr. Paul personally called for.

Everyone possible needs to take a day or two and put their world on hold to march on WASHINGTON.

Dr. Paul said a march on Washington...not Washington and San Francisco. We all need to show up to one place to show our strength in numbers. That's one of the purposes of this march.
