Dr. Paul said a march on Washington...Washington and San Francisco. We all need to show up to one place to show our strength in numbers. That's one of the purposes of this march.

I understand and totally support that - why I made the point that the DC march should take precedence HOWEVER there is no way I can go to that and I know many others, especially on the west coast will be in the same position that I would be in.

SF has already had a good many very successful and well attended events and I know that many would participate. It's worth considering anyway.

I say if there is no way of making it to Washington D.C. , then I am don't see why there shouldn't be a rally in SF. The people that have a problem with this, should offer up a way, money or excuses to give to thier bosses. If the people in SF can't make it then it is thier right to rally if they want to. Let the liberty bell ring.

yeah...i live in Phoenix which is only 4 hours away from SF. so, I'm in the same predicament . If there are 2...that's what it will be. But, If I can get out to go to one...I'm heading for DC. I believe this will have a bigger impact. I guess all we can do is wait and see what the date is first. *shrugs*

Well neither location is any easier for those of us with limited funds in the middle of the country. Just sayin'.

Anyway, I think one official rally in D.C. is the way to go. If there are people in other parts of the country who can not find any way at all to get there, maybe the local meetups can plan corresponding events.

Local meetups should also get together on arranging group transportation and lodging to make it easier for more people to attend.

I agree - I won't really say anything more to not distract from the DC march. Once the date is chosen then we can go from there and see what happens.
