Ron Paul: Time Person of the Year?

What is that suppose to mean? Way to go for writing a thoughtful response and you are a moderator...

He could be the potential person of the year if something really really huge happens on Dec 16th.

Unfortunately it happens on the 13th

dec. 16th is most likely too late to become person of the year;) PLUS Time Magazine sadly will never ever elect someone as Dr. Paul person of the year :(

Because, you completely misunderstand the intent of the magazine awarding such an honor: it's for the person that either has achieved the most fantastical accomplishment, or was the top newsmaker, for the year.

Sadly, I don't think the media will see Dr Paul as falling into either of those categories.

He did answer the question posed.

I don't think it will happen either. And really, it's irrelevant. This movement is sounding the horn of the impending fall into irrelevance of old media, we don't need their worthless accolades.

They've already chosen the top 10 "POY" candidates and Ron Paul wasn't on the list, so NO. Currently J.K. Rowling and Al Gore are fighting it our for 1st and 2nd place on the poll.

He will be person of the year next year after he's elected to be president!

You can't , he's not an option... you can only vote on the "top ten" people they have listed. -Tyler
