The Oklahoma GOP establishment tried to undermine and change the Republican rules regarding delegate selection in an attempt to exclude Ron Paul supporters.

There was a problem with the registration of delegates which meant that many Ron Paul delegates were rejected when they reached the GOP convention.

Despite everyone turning up with a voter registration card, the officials claimed they couldn’t verify that they were registered to vote.

After taking a ballot from all delegates, the majority voted for the delegates to be added to be accepted.

The video below shows what happened and how the Ron Paul supporters had to fight for their right to be a delegate.

This is cool, but I cannot figure out when this happened. The Oklahoma primary is not until Super Tuesday. Does this mean they already had delegate selection and Tuesday's primary is just a beauty contest? Was this 2008? Please fill me in.

They are trying to become eligible to be delegates.

These same sorts of shenanigans will be pulled in convention after convention across the country. It's imperative that every RP delegate attends their convention and understands Robert's Rules. A simple motion to amend the rules is what facilitated the vote needed to reinstate the "rejected" delegates (surely all identified RP supporters). Basic parliamentary procedure in action right there. Great job to those people. They beat the party at it's own game. The battle is just starting however.

Why does this Possum guy keep coming up in threads? Ive seen his name several times and I dont even live in Oklahoma. He must really have it out for OK RP delegates.

This is just one example of the efforts being put forth to surpress Ron Paul and his supporters. At this point I am convinced that Ron Paul won Iowa, Nevada, Maine and Washington but it was stolen from him/us

Put down the crack pipe. Ron did not win Nevada. No way in heck. When people say things like this, I begin to doubt their sanity.
