Ron Paul! Ron Paul! Protesters LOUDLY chanting near main Bilderberg conference room

Well, gee whiz, what the hell are you doing here?

Go, take care of that, posthaste.

I recognize the obvious,,, but will add.

My ultimate hope is not this world, I fully expect it to go completely to shit.
My hope is in Christ's return.

In the mean time I am told to continue to work..

Soap box= speaking up at every opportunity
Ballot Box= Voting my conscious
Jury box= I am forbidden
Ammo Box= I am disarmed

I vote and I shout (or type)
I will work all peaceful means. I will take arms should that someday become necessary,, but have no wish for it.

All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

I will resist.

I agree with you that outlandish conspiracy theorists like Bill Still and Alex Jones like to pretend they are always at the forefront of the fight against tyranny with their flashy tactics. In my opinion, the Globalists are even more ridiculous. As of now, their power seems unstoppable and they want it to look that way. They use the media to portray them that way. The elite are arrogant, well-dressed, and hold legitimacy in the eyes of the people but I think they get too much credit, even on this board. They believe they can rule the world through their fascist institutions, as a follower of Austrian Economics a part of me can't help but smile at the lunacy of such an claim. These people believe they are demi-gods, to that I say, "Sure thing chief". And while they have been successful thus far, their arrogances will, in the end, destroy their legitimacy and their plans. I actually think it is quite comical watching it all play out. Get your popcorn ready.

Hawkers of conspiracy theories divert attention away from real threats to liberty. They directly help the Globalists in many ways: by marginalizing groups that believe in freedom, by taking money and effort away from genuine causes, and by casting doubt upon unbelievable-but-true infringements upon liberty by governments.

Alex Jones and his like harm the cause of liberty more than they benefit it.

Brilliant retort, my friend.

I think it is possible to hold rallies such as the one outside Bilderberg and work on getting people in through the Republican Party. They aren't mutually exclusive, as Anti-Federalist noted.

Thread winner!

I'm sorry but I disagree.

Our liberty with be won when each liberty advocate is unleashed from the shackles of popular opinion and uses his or her talents to spread liberty in a way that takes advantage of their unique talents and skills. Liberty is spread via many avenues including the streets, the political arena, the classroom, and the cinema, but it is up to the individual to decide which course to take and which path to follow.

To be honest, I still suspect Bilderberg is just a decoy meeting just to distract us from something else. It could be that people like Bill Gates are not the culprits, but they're just there to make this seem bigger than it is, while something more sinister goes unnoticed.

It's pretty stupid since it sounds like it could be infiltrated so easily. Why would they discuss sinister plans here, of all places!?

Anyways, as inspiring as it is to see people protest, I honestly do not believe it does anything. In fact, I imagine their meeting takes place in some sort of sound-proof room.

Protesting only does something if the person on top actually gives a shit enough to be persuaded. Otherwise we're just making noise.

That all said, I am angry at police who are arresting folks without any reason within the law whatsoever!

Interesting. A conspiracy on the conspiracy.
Well aren't they chessmasters? Our reaction to Bilderberg is too predictable.

Still, offtopic from my previous posts, but that lady who said "WE HAVE MACHINE GUNS!!!" really sounded like she was schizo or something. What were they gonna do with those machine guns? Shoot people with them? I'd like to see them try and still think they could keep Bilderberg low-profile!

My point being if they're making such threats to people, there's no way Bilderberg could be kept underground for much longer. So why are they still conducting important events there!?

It is held at a different location each year. Last year it was in Switzerland.

So having read through the thread seems like the Bilderbergers have played this well. Those who protest are viewed as a)kooks for wasting their time on a meeting that must not be important as it is so obvious now that it occurs or b) wasting the valuble resources of the liberty movement by spending precious dollars that should be spent in a manner by which the majority views as effective by electing liberty candidates (which at this stage seems to be as effective as bullhorning the Marriott). So we are effectively allowing them to cause in fighting and let us destroy ourselves while they do what they do. The way that some people here have taken to be pessimist queens (and yes this applies to you guys as well as gals) is just disheartening.

The thing about a cockroach infestation is unless it is dealt with at the initial stage they eventually become more brazen. The insiders know who they can trust and Bilderberg would be my guess of a first level looksie* for who might make it to the next level of secrecy. I doubt that any initial real scoop will come from any so called insiders that Jones might have because my guess is they are allowing the insight to deseminate information to soften and steer public opinion. Hardcore discussions are kept among the need to know top level controllers( if I had my guess). So bullhorning them? At least it has made the fact, yes fact which was disputed years ago, that these meetings go on obvious to the public and that should allow the liberty movement to help persuade some who would question why we happen to see government policy that closely resembles that which attendees to meetings like these might collude to create.

I think we should support the individuals who might be better called to shout and make noise while the other individuals who quietly become stealth delegates do their thing. I don't believe we are limited by anything other than our imaginations and the fear we allow the opposition to plant in our minds so that the crooks and liars are not confronted by the angry masses they deserve to be confronted by.

* eta...since the Mark Sanford affair, I remain convinced about this. I found it quite interesting that he attended the Bilderberg meeting, disrespected David Rockefeller, and gets outed for his affair within short order. However, Sanford seemed to be genuine in thinking that there was nothing nefarious going on so I think it is where the powerborkers are vetting new blood while making them at ease with what is really a corrupt practice.

Great post. Very interesting idea about the Bilderberg meeting partially being like a job interview of sorts.
