Ron Paul! Ron Paul! Protesters LOUDLY chanting near main Bilderberg conference room

The protests are actually doing something... They are attempting to force the MSM to cover the meeting. Bilderberg members do not like media coverage and enjoy as much secrecy as possible. MSM talk show hosts don't even recognize the existence of Bilderberg.

Clearly the globalists' goals are in strict violation of our liberties. This is the beginning of necessary exposure.

Piss off the Globalist! The power brokers are in that hotel making decisions for you and me. They hate Ron Paul because the last 4 years his message has opened peoples eyes and minds. The Globalist are furious!

RON PAUL! RON PAUL! RON PAUL!

This :)

Pffft...to hell with all the haters.

Wish I was there, I'd do the same damn thing.

What does it accomplish?

Who knows, but at least it's young people, out there, registering their anger at the one of the real problems.

WTF is not to like about that at this point?

What, is it going to hurt Ron's chances with the GOP?:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Right?

It's shameful to see the #1 Paul advocate for the past 17 years, the man who put Paul on the map, Alex Jones, get so much disrespect on a Ron Paul forum.

Exactly. If we don't expose the criminals we won't be able to stop them.

How is megaphoning Bilderburg "guarding our liberty"?

Making enough noise to be heard, then people take notice. This also forces the Presstitutes (Controlled Corporate Media) to report it. Alex is screaming about most of the attendees inside who are American are violating the Logan Act. These meetings held have foreign dignitaries, Corporate big wigs, and U.S. Military/government servants conspiring behind closed doors our futures. Ten years ago when anyone mentioned the Bilderberg Conference, they were dismissed out-of-hand as a conspiracy kook. Now that the light is shining on these cockroaches, they try to make it look ohhh so innocent. If they were innocent, there would be full transparency and anyone would be allowed to sit in on their meetings.

I am sorry you feel this is a game. Our Liberty hangs in the balance and the people who make decisions behind close doors for all of us is no game. When you make noise you force people to look, that is how Alex rolls.

I am sure glad our founders didn't think like you.

"The liberties of a people never were, nor ever will be, secure, when the transactions of their rulers may be concealed from them."
~Patrick Henry

“"The liberties of our country, the freedoms of our civil Constitution are worth defending at all hazards; it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors. They purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood. It will bring a mark of everlasting infamy on the present generation – enlightened as it is – if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of designing men." ~Samuel Adams”

"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."
~Samuel Adams

I am similarly glad that the Founders did not stand around screaming at the British through megaphones. I am glad that you and a couple of others here really think the MSM is going to be drawn to this story the more noise is made about it. They were drawn to the "Occupy" story for a few weeks, only to completely miss addressing the fundamental problem (then again, Occupy was very disorganized on that front). It was boiled down to "angry about the bailouts," and left at that.

I would like to get people into Government who are at least slightly aware of what Bilderberg is, while simultaneously not losing sight of their purpose at home. Seriously, fighting a "war" against Bilderberg is about as useful as fighting a War on Terror. You could put every person in that chamber in the ground, and you would still not have killed the beast. Instead, you would have only marred and marked yourself.

I'm not sure what all this self-righteous nonsense is about, though. I didn't say anything the protest being bad. I said I personally found it to be ineffective, and that the reason Alex Jones was involved likely had more to do with having a subject for a show or two or three than any other reason. If you shut off all the mics and cameras, would he still be there? If he is so damned important, why aren't they chanting his name?

What exactly is this supposed to accomplish?

If anything, I find the Bilderberg 2012 coverage to be a testament to how large the independent media has grown in the past few years. Hearing reports from Adam Kokesh, there was dozens of independent reporters and multiple live streams. Not only that, but many reporters from MSM also showed up.

You have to admit it, would be humorous.

Alex Jones in a colonial era wig with a giant bullhorn: "The answer to 1776 is.. Uh.."

I'm pretty sure that the early patriots did stand around and scream at the British. Then they were gunned down in the streets in Boston which was a catalyst for the American Revolution. I'm glad the founders didn't try to infiltrate the Tory party, because that never would have worked.

Uh, they did a little more than scream. They also threw sharp rocks which by many would be considered crossing the line into assault. I'm not defending the response by British troops(which contrary to the historical nationalistic warping, was NOT an organized massacre). Just saying.

Someone should tell Ron Paul... or Rand... or Thomas Massie... or Liberty Forest (which started out quite entwined with Ron's 2008 campaign)... or Gunny... or Amash... or Medina... or even Kokesh.

I've often wondered, over the years, how people so hateful and unhappy with the process find their way to a forum designed to work to get people elected. I'm even more confused as to why they stay.

I'm generally neutral. But I find the RPF's as a great place to discuss news topics, economics, social issues, etc with people who are like minded. There are few other large forums with such like minded people.

I guess I should have rephrased to ask why the people in question also feel a need to tell us that everything people who care about the Mission Statement do is fruitless, pointless, and downright silly... while usually pointing out that if we gather and shout and hold homemade signs, the MSM will spread the message of secret meetings far and wide and the NWO will crumble.

Makes me kind of feel like... "No! The Easter Bunny is NOT real! Jeez, how dumb are you? Santa's not bringing you any presents if you're going to be that stupid."

Is there a better avenue than protest at this point? Looks like RP 2012 is fizzling. So what now?

You can shout at buildings or you can help get people into office; I know which one I am doing, and whatever you believe is best should be what you are doing :)

Do you think the shadow government is going to allow liberty-minded people to make noise? Have you noticed how the media blacked out Ron Paul throughout this whole campaign?

"If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth only soft soap and wishful thinking to begin, and in the end, despair." ~C. S. Lewis

RP2012 is not fizzling IMO I know a lot of delegates working their ass off and spending tons of their own hard earned money for the convention, though the official campaign is trying its best to make it :(.

There are tons of ways to protest. Some I agree with, some I don't.

The Free State Project is one that I ardently support and hope to join soon.

Why must it always be an all/nothing proposition?

Street action and political activism.

Street action and alternative media are one of the primary ways around the firewall of corporate/government media.

That's why I donate time and money to the Pauls, and Gunny and Kokesh, to name a few.

What I do NOT do is wander into every thread that has the "name _________" in it and complain and whine about how worthless "name ________" is, and how supporters of "name ________" are all fucked up and doing it all wrong and making us all look bad.
