The hell with both the republicans and the democrats and write in Ron Pauls name. No party needed. If we can get his name on the ballot great if not WHO CARES. People want real change and don't want to vote for hillary or mccain and more of the same.
I say we continue this and take it to the end and save our country.

Do what you guys want but there are more effective ways to push the revolution forward. Like becoming more involved in your local republican party.

Futhermore as a write in candidate they do not read those names off. So as a write in you will not make a difference.

I'm excited to be voting FOR someone this year. I will be voting for Dr. Paul unless he specifically requests otherwise. I can't vote for McCain with a clear conscience at this point. My only reason to vote for McCain would be as a vote AGAINST Hillary or Obama. I'm sick of voting against people. In 2000, I voted against Gore. In 04, I voted against Kerry. In 08, I will vote FOR Paul, not against the democratic candidate.

No, all you need to do is write him in.

You can write in any candidate you want. If we all did it, it would send a HUGE message.

You can also vote for him for Congress if you are in his district.

I intend to write his name in during the general election. I can't pull the lever for the other three socialists/Fascims advocates. (McCain, Clinton, Obama)

I'm planning on voting for a 3rd party candidate...either Libertarian or Constitution. I consider myself a "right libertarian" so if someone similar to Dr. Paul (pro-constitution, pro-life) emerges, they have my vote.

I assume people are talking about the general election. Unless Ron Paul explicitly asks us not to, I will be writing him in. If I can't, then I'll vote libertarian like I usually do. If there isn't a libertarian candidate, then I will be forced to vote democrat as a protest vote.

In my opinion, McCain is the most dangerous candidate, closely followed by Hillary and then Obama. But that's just me.

I will be writing him in also to make a point unless he says not too. If he does that I will vote LP or CP...whatever most of us here would agree on...we need to make a statement with our vote and all vote for the same person I think.

I would never vote for her but I think Hilary is the least dangerous candidate because all she cares about is her reputation and not really changing anything either way. Kinda like Bill...he was not really dangerous, he just didn't do anything at all besides make for some comedic relief. McCain and Obama are both very scary IMO.

I agree that WE represent a third party. I say let's have a national write-in "bomb." I also agree with those of you that say to vote for Paul unless a 3rd party candidate is endorsed by the good doctor.

Some have asked why I started this thread. I believe in order to keep the message of liberty and to save this country we need to push Ron Paul into the race. In 2008 if our choices are McCain or the Democrats this country is done. We are going to collapse economically for sure. We as a nation will turn to more big government bringing us to socialism. Either way I think McCain and or Hillary or Obama will destroy our country. This is not about a protest vote!!! It is the last moral and patriotic vote you will ever cast in your life time to save our country.

If Hillary and McCain are the choices I see Ron Paul supporters changing the politics forever. Republican conservatives and independents and some democrats will see Ron Paul as an option to no longer vote for the lesser of 2 evils. Ron Paul will be the vote to end this war and save our country from socialism and removing the IRS etc. Also he will be the only candidate against illegal immigration. Even if Ron Paul says he is not running we the American Patriots will draft him into the race somehow. Civil disobedience, marches on Washington into the millions. If the MSM will ignore Ron Paul then we will make it impossible for them to ignore us.

This is not about anti-war protests of the 60’s. This is about the obsession of government thru the tax burden and the erosion of our individual rights. This election is the point in history where Americans will choose freedom over tyranny. We the people will restore the constitution and promise to protect it at all costs. We will promote the principles of freedom to every American and then write Ron Paul’s name in come November.
