Ron Paul rebukes Ted Cruz for comments on Hagel (American Conservative)

Well even before his final vote on Hagel, he did publicly say that he was filibustering in part to garner support for his filibuster of Brennan.

If it had just been the fillibuster, and if he told us that but he made a bunch of comments about Hagel echoing Cruz etc. Ron did things people didn't like, but he explained himself and his words matched his actions. People trusted him for that reason.

I don't expect anyone to be just like anyone else, but I want to know who they are, and if they can be counted on, and if so, for what.
