I've stopped caring about Rand though. I doubt Ron feels the same way, but I've stopped viewing him as being associated to Ron at all. Rand is who he is, and that is a consistent rule of law conservative with a few libertarian leanings. I don't expect anything more than that out of him, and I don't understand why some seem to. That said, I'll probably still vote for him if he gets to the general because why not.

As for the rest, I +repped a lot of the comments, and most of those that I didn't were because I ran out of rep to dole out. Excellent stuff.

Oh, I've been an an-cap since September, and probably leaning that way for several more months before that. I went from neo-con (ish... I was a little brighter than the average neocon) to an-cap in like three years. Hope you'll join us soon, regardless of whether you vote fr Rand or not

My note to Snowden:

Thank you Edward Snowden for having the guts to expose the NSA spying program for what it is. Don't lose hope, the American government (gang of criminals) demonizes you and says you are a traitor, showing that they themselves have contempt for the American people and view them as our nation's enemies. Keep up the good work, don't accept any plea deals that will shut you up, and expose everything you have. You will be in my prayers.

I'm not even registered as of yet. Honestly, its not a huge priority for me, considering its extremely unlikely that there will be any good options to vote for (Even if we be generous and call Rand a "good option" he's probably not going to be on the ballot.) I care much more about education than voting. I'd register Republican if Ron Paul ran again, but its not going to happen and with that being said, I have no interest in affiliating myself with the criminals.

I could be convinced to join the GOP but voting for someone who I barely support is not a good enough reason. AF explained very well what my problem with Rand Paul is. I understand; and respect, that some of you are more political junkies and that you don't agree, but I take this sort of thing very seriously.

Well, he said he should be "prosecuted". That's bad enough. Rand has ZERO understanding of the evils of government or the NAP. Or, if he does, he is refusing to share those insights. Rand may be useful as a "no" vote in the senate, but he's a really crappy educator.

I sat in an arena filled to capacity and then some and listened to Ron talk about the evils of the federal reserve, the out of control spending of the ABC agencies and how they not only violate the constitution but are utterly worthless and incompetent. I listened to him talk about election rigging. I heard him ask us WHY every government agency is loading up on ammunition. THIS is what I want to hear. Rand may be playing it safe to be more mainstream, but he's not waking any of the lemming's asses up and never will.

Rand sez:

A - He broke the law. (A flat out statement on his part)

B - There are penalties for breaking the law. (Yes, in this case, based on the court indictment, there are mandatory minimum prison sentences)

C - Snowden should be prosecuted for breaking the law.

Therefore, based on Rand's own words, he broke the law, should be prosecuted for that, it is assumed there is prima facie evidence of guilt, in which case he will be found guilty and he will go to prison.

Now, ya'll can spin until you vomit, but that's the facts of what he said, period.
