I agree completely with those who say the conspriracy section was positive. At first it came as negative but then I realized that Beck was giving Paul the opportunity to defend his positions and the claims that Ron Paul and his supporters are crazy radicals. By bringing this up RP was able to discuss the absurdity of the conspiracy theorists and separate both himself and us from those claims.(note I only read through about page 8 before skipping ahead to post)

yeah seriously! Those 10 minutes spent on the conspiracy and this death threat were very much unjustified and does not help the outlook of Ron Paul supporters.

I completely disagree. You and I know that those who oppose Ron Paul usually mention that he and his supporters are "radical" or "conspiracy theorists". Glenn gave Dr. Paul and opportunity to set that straight. Dr. Paul gave excellent answers by not only denying any connection to those threats and conspiracies, but denouncing them all together.

Remember that the "MSM" are private companies that can broadcast what they like. They are in no way obligated to support or broadcast Ron Paul. In fact, it's Ron Paul who supports their right to do so. With that said, yeah, it's not "fair", but it takes passionate people like us to help Dr. Paul get into the spotlight. Acting like 12 year olds by sending hate e-mail and spewing vulgarities does not help Paul. Being rational, logical, and going crazy when someone asks Dr. Paul a controversial question (especially when giving him plenty of time to answer) does help.

This is a tremendous boost to Dr. Paul's campaign. For pete sake, the guy said he had a non-gay man crush on Dr. Paul! What do you think his supporters thought of that? He almost outright said that he agrees with almost everything Dr. Paul said with a glimmer in his eye!

This is truly where it all starts. You can even see that Dr. Paul had several interviews today, and we're getting what we want.

You were supporting the wrong man in the first place. The original supporters (I know some personally well, but I am not one) are people who believe in the libertarian philosophy and respect Paul's honesty.

Odd that all of a sudden your view of Paul has changed to the above from this:

you can trust this man because he has been saying the same thing for 30 years, you know what you are getting. Trust is everything, especially now.

What a GREAT interview! Questions and answers were perfect. The 'French kiss' comment was pretty wild, but in a nutshell it said that Beck was in full agreement about economic issues.

I thought it was telling that Beck hit as hard as he could about jihadism and foreign policy, but accepted RP's answers without any attempt at a counter-argument.

Beck was very charged, very positive, and it seemed to me that the interview was a peak experience for him. Even from the way he presented the 'death threat', it was clear that he did not consider RP to be an ideological threat, and the question turned out to be a showcase for RP's personal character.

It will be very interesting to see what comes of this interview in terms of additional public support, and in the way Beck presents RP's stands in the future.

Has anyone else been having trouble with the broadcasting of the Philadelphia area CNN Headline News broadcasts of this? It was scheduled for 3 times this evening, at 7pm, 9pm and 11pm.

I tried watching the first two so far and neither was complete. The final return during the first run after the last commercial break never happened.

During the 9pm showing there was a huge pause for almost 10 min before the half hour mark and a CN8 program which was an interview (and the interviewer was saying something about "in this hour we will be talking about...) started playing.

Finally at the end of the program, Glenn said he would come back and I was looking forward to seeing the conclusion this time around, but an infomercial about a bed and breakfast came on instead and played until 10, the conclusion never came.

I will try again for the final airing but this is getting frustrating. Has anyone else had problems like this?

Yes we got the same thing and for a moment thought we were in the twilight zone or it was a joke or that it was a MSM conspiracy to block RP's message But I called my buddy and he saw the same thing. Huge thumbs down to Comcast.

We were shaking our heads during that 'truther' segment, we didn't understand Glenn's point and we're both college educated professionals. What a waste of time on Glenns ego.
