Hi guys, I've just about got my dad convinced to support Ron Paul; the last issue is that he is concerned that Paul might be "anti-Israel". I explained that not subsidizing Israel is just part of a broader foreign policy of not subsidizing any foreign governments, which he seems able to accept, but he has asked me about Paul's position on arms sales to Israel and in my 2-second Google search I wasn't able to find anything on this issue. Can anyone help me out here? What is Paul's position on arms sales to foreign nations generally and to Israel in particular?

Ron Paul would be ok with private arms sales as long as they weren't playing sides in doing so.

Why the hell would any one want to sell arms! That's grossss!

Well, according to my dad, all arms deals go through the government and there really is no such thing as "private" arms sales to foreign governments. Does anyone know if this is true?
