Uhh, Ron Paul said that Obama was the lesser of two evils (probably more like 2 months ago), because he would do less damage with our foreign policy. If you want blood on your hands, vote McCain. If you want bloody socialism on your hands, vote Obama.
Now foreign policy is out of the spotlight so McCain is the lesser of two evils at the moment..
I don't know why he goes back and forth, I think he was making up for his prior transgression.
