Ron Paul making important announcement on Leland Conway at 3:30 (ET)

That would qualify as an important announcement. I would be happy with that.

Let's just hope it's not the one we fear "I'm quitting altogether"

Damn well better not be that!!! It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to announce an indy run now, but filing deadlines for some states are sooner then the convension.

It was covered in state pretty good. anyone that liked davis knew. Paul was also indorsed by the state senators from Anderson Spartanburg , and I think laurans counties.

As ridiculous as that seems, I bet most people in South Carolina have no idea that he endorsed Ron Paul. It wasn't covered by the media.

Yeah, I really hope, that he doesn't say he is quitting.

I don't even get where people are coming from with this quitting nonsense....

this was LAST NIGHT:

any other links? Thse in OP are only for US.

I guess that he will officially announce that he won some state (delegate wise)

But that just makes it all the more hilarious.

I think every Monday morning Tom Davis should tweet that he is going to be making a big announcement on Tuesday morning, and then every Tuesday morning he should announce he is whole-heartedly endorsing Ron Paul. And he should act like he hasn't already done it. It'll be like Groundhog's Day.

Think of the comedy value!

LOVE this!

I'm confused that a Paul supporter on this forum would even say this. Haven't you watched any of the vids? Why on earth would Ron quit when he's winning the hearts and minds of more and more Americans on a daily basis. Even if he wasn't running for Prez he'd be going around the country speaking exactly the same thing.

There are only a few things that come to mind when a candidate has an important announcement to make and quitting is one of them. All I said was I hope that isn't the reason. I didn't say I hope he quits or anything else to imply that I'm against RP.

Well, I do remember that his 'big announcement' last summer was that he was not going to run again for the House, and that hit like a ton of bricks. But in this case there is no possibility of that, he is doing very well in all the behind the scenes stuff.
