Ron Paul is NOT coming to MI!

I was out canvassing with a spraigned ankle. I haven't done a whole lot because I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. I'm not saying this as an excuse. I got 600 slim jims delivered. It's just that others have done so much more and I can't.

I haven't worked in a long time. I got some money for Christmas and gave 25% of it to the campaign. I made the contribution that I could and was thrilled to able to.

I have not seen one TV ad for Ron. Not one. I have seen McCain, Huckabee and Romney, every day, several times a day, for a week, now. They are all over the papers, as well. No Ron.

To say that I'm pissed off is an undestatement. I'm not working because I'm not well, but I see figures like 30K a month for someone doing WHAT?
 
i am not sure how he would of done there.....i think the dems will vote for an easy kill for their party......so i think that might be against rp......who knows though, maybe they might think rp would be an easy kill.....but i think the glass jaw candidate would be huck....he has so much dirt on him and they can bury him so easy in the main election..... not sure how that will turn out cause no dems are on the ballot......
 
We could have cleaned up in Michigan, but it takes TV and apperances. Those other sleazeballs are all over the place, here.
 
Lets just support MI whatever happens and let HQ do their stuff. We just have to do..

One of the few things in this thread that makes sense.

I still send money. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants some longevity in this movement. If it hadn't dried up, he'd know he could spend a little more before the blitz for the 5th comes around. Maybe he'll take Nevada. That's all he'll really need before Super Tues. to go in with the front runners. Even if he get's 3 or 4 in MI and SC.
So much bitching and whining. That's a lot of effort to no good end by default. Even doing nothing would beat the hell out of all the bitching.
 
This isn't very smart. He needs to focus really hard on Michigan with his economic policies (and as much as I hate to say it, fear mongering about a recession. Seeing as that state is practically IN one that would resonate well with them). That's the one state I thought he MIGHT win. But it looks bleak with the sort of ads he's running and a lack of presence by the man himself. New Hampshire wasn't BAD but was a let down for me, I was expecting him to kill there.

I support Paul though. He's a smart man and I trust that he knows what he is doing.

Gop in Michigan has been VERY hostile from what I have seen..even the governor there as said some things..ARE YOU GUYS RUNNING NEWSPAPER ADS??

I don't think the campaign staff is very good because I never evern heard a word about RP in 1988, nor at all, until October 07, and that was due to some grassroots telling me about it. You must run the newspaper ads that they have done in areas where RP won. The "Daily Dose" is ridiculous so far, and not doing what it seems to me it was supposed to do, else something about MI would have been mentioned, etc. RP has been doing his congressional duties, and should be. We can do as much as we CAN, and so is he. If the campaign can not even communicate with us, how can they possibly communicate with the rest olf America? However, we have seen that complaining does nothing. Not about the issues, and certainly not about HQ. Each of us needs to do what he/she CAN, and the chips will fall as they may. IT IS ONLY THE GRASSROOTS THAT WILL EVER CONTINUE THIS MOVEMENT. Nothing else will do it, period, no matter what. No matter how many ads or appearances. That is just the way it IS. Keep doing what you CAN, and get it in the papers. ESPECIALLY NOW, and the day of voting. Do a chip-in if you need to, I will help..RUN ADS.
 
Anybody have any idea how we're sitting with the Michigan Militia? Seems to me Ron would be very appealing to them.

GOP stopped and talked to us and asked us if we were going to be going to the 60.00/per person dinner. Since the money was for the GOP and not just Ron Paul we told him we politely declined. We will persevere and march on regardless, but it sure would be nice to see "da man" and oh yeah, at least one tv commercial would have helped immensely. People in Michigan, that do know of him, think he is not running anymore, because they do not see any ads for him, like they are used to politicians doing running for office

It might have been nice if at least a couple of people could have attended. Even after Paul wins, we need to retake the GOP offices too, and the way to do that is state by state.

I had posted somewhere before that we in Mi finally got a chance to meet the heads of the state campaign at a meetup meeting. I was excited to see what plans they had for MI and what is going on. To my huge disappointement, whey they finally showed up, all they did was pat us on the back, say good job, and keep up the good work! I didn't attend this meeting for a pep talk! I wanted answers and information. Every email from them is keep working hard. Never, this is what the campaign is doing. Now I know why, because they aren't doing squat!!
 
So what exactly is 'National' and why does Ron obey it? Is Kent Snyder telling Ron that visiting primary states is stupid or some bullshit?!
 
Just because Ron Paul is such a great man does not mean he knows how to run a presidential campaign. That's why professionals are so important.

The campaign staff have sabotaged us. I don't know if it's intentional or incompetance.

We could have easily won Michigan. This shit about being happy with fourth or fifth place is garbage. You do not pass up a state that you can take, and they did.
