Ron Paul: ‘I’d like to think of myself as the flavor of the decade’

By Felicia Sonmez
Ron Paul is no flavor of the month.

Asked on CNN’s “State of the Union” about Saturday’s Des Moines Register poll showing him surging into second place in Iowa, the Texas congressman and GOP presidential hopeful said the survey reflects that his positions on economic and foreign policy issues have been “striking a chord with the people.”

“Of course it is very encouraging because we’re getting pretty close to it being within the margin of error,” Paul said. “So, I think we continue to do what we’re doing. We’ve had the flavors of the month up and down so far in this campaign. I’d like to think of myself as the flavor of the decade.”

Ron Paul is the flavor of the decade but its not the 2001-2010 years but the 2011-20 years.

If the GOP will NOT nominate Paul and will go for either Newt or Willard, then the GOP will get OBLITERATED by Obama in the general.

The GOP will soon find out that they only way it can survive is by adopting Ron Paul's platform, in its entirety, or they will perish into being completely inconsequential.

Heck, take a look at the 18-29 age groups among the GOP voters, we majorly support Ron Paul. And we are the people who will influence the GOP more and more in the coming years.

So yeah, Ron Paul will be the flavor of the decade - the coming decade that is.

Well, of course. We're already well into it. He wants to be the flavor of this decade, not last.

I've been telling this to anti-RP republicans for months. All I get is this sort of thing- . It's going to bite them in the ass, I tell ya. ;)

That article is posted at www. theblaze.com and we're hashing out all Dr. Paul's stances now. There are two, not one but two, 9/11 truthers in there making my life miserable. I swear, sometimes I think it's the left posing as truthers.
