That IS damage control.![]()
Actually, you were one of those people saying last night hurt us. It didn't. It just made the people that aren't going to vote for Ron hate him even more. There are plenty of fence sitters out there who aren't exactly sure what he thinks about Al Qaeda. Ron needs a way to explain it. That is not damage control. No real damage was done.
lol i started the ron paul needs a suit that fits thread after the first debate. somebody listen! image (unfortunately) matters, just look at the assclowns who skyrocket in polls. slick cowboy rick, governor good hair romney...
What is everyone talking about? I LOVE his suits and his hair! He has never looked "kooky" or "old" to me. It's like when the media creamed Hilary over not wearing a skirt. Seriously, as long as Ron has clean clothes, all his hair, and doesn't start growing boils all over his body, HE IS FINE. It's not like he sweats and looks nervous like Nixon. Geez, Paul supporters should be better than this shallow stuff.
Anyway, why isn't anyone talking the man's last comment? "Deepest support since Bobby Kennedy...." And what happened to Bobby again?
You and everyone who attacked me in that thread are wrong.
People go to college for this and it is based on psychology and science.
A single dude can get girls without having nice shoes, but that does not mean he shouldn't have nice shoes.
Paul might as well invest some of his money to look the part and try to adopt some mannerisms and speaking techniques that can win over those who care less about substance and more about style.
Why are we talking about this? Ron does not change policy views nor does he wear makeup for TV, do debate prep or any of the other things some of us might like him to do. Accept it and move on.
