I don't know, what's wrong with using the r3VOLution logo on a yellow background?

then its cool enough to be on a gum pack, easy enough to be noticed as RP propaganda, and you can have the issues on the other side.....

this is not rocket science. If I'm honest, the official blue colour and official logo looks square in the extreme.

Thats something we can work on for a second edition. From the polls this was well received, as the first Primaries and Caucuses are approaching I'd like to get one out the door as fast as possible.

Any plans on using this one on your forum website?

Personally I like that one a lot!

Just a quick mock-up:

Edit: hey, don't we need to leave space for nutritional information?

+1 (traditional colors, basic issue Info, conservative design)

But I suggest the official "Ron Paul 2008 - Hope for America"-Logo. :)

i DONT like it. we need individually wrapped sticks THEN people will be forced to read the label. IMO

The problem with sticks is space. The "blister" packaging allows for much more text to be (legibly) placed on the wrapper. Also, as some other people have noted, when they eat sticks of gum they just throw out the wrapper, which wouldn't help much...

Wait lol, how does the gum look or whats the flavor? I'm thinking its like juicy fruit with all this yellow floating around.

I probably should have mentioned this earlier, it is Peppermint flavor and looks very similar to "eclipse" gum.

Well, I was TOTALLY hoping to have the ordering system done before today (Christmas) but sadly that isn't the case. Maybe later tonight.

Kudos on the RP gum

Greg Vernon,

I just want to say I think your RP gum project is pretty cool. I can't wait to buy some to pass out.

I have to admit that when I first read your posts about this gum, I thought it was just a parody. I also thought it sounded dumb, just as I thought of the blimp. Now I have bought ad time on the blimp and want to use the gum as a conversation starter.

Next time someone doesn't instantly convert to Ron Paul for you, remember they might just need some repetition of good messages before they commit.

Thanks for all you are doing for our freedom.

How about

"Forget the debt bubble! Forget the housing bubble. Freedom sticks!"

Very cool idea by the way. Have you ever seen those fake chewing gum wrappers that snap down on your finger when you try to grab a piece of gum? Maybe make some of those for the other candidates.

I like where this thread is going! New ideas for the new year, wouldn't be surprised if this idea gets HUGE. Blimp, for great justice!

I have not, but I'll see what I can do.

I'll buy a bunch once you get it up and running. I work at a convenience store, I'll sell it on the counter and undercut my competition (aka, my employer hahaha)

Selling it on the counter *could* get you into trouble if it isn't going into the register, but, giving it away and advertising it as free could give you some wiggle room. You could always say you didn't notice it, maybe a customer put it there.
