Okay, since some wanted another design that was a bit less controversial than my revolutionary Ron Paul/Vive la constitucion design, I came up with the following:

Comments? Questions? Thoughts?

Some slogans that might go well with it:

"It's value cannot be compromised"

"An investment the Founders would be proud of"

"Undeflatable Principles"

"An investment for the future"

Too bright- turn the white into a very light gray, which will still look white but cut down a lot on the glare.

Those are all great. :D

Ha! That's cool! When are you gonna start minting them??? hehehe

Nice. A one ounce silver round would be excellent too. With silver just $12 an ounce many more could be circulated.

These are great, I would buy one if I could afford it. :D

All right- I've made this into a tshirt. I'm setting the price at $8 although it might fluctuate if you buy an organic version or get an XXL. I don't really have control over any of that - it's all through goodstorm.

We just had some some silver coins made at the site I admin... The dies to make them cost $1750.00 and Silver is about 13 and we have to pay a buck above that to order them and have them make them..

They will end up costing us about 15 a troy oz and one of our users plans to send Ron Paul one of each. We have a Liberty coin and a Bull with Abolish the Fed

You can see them on the link below!

I think someone poured a can of planters in your head we you were not looking :D

I like it... But to each their own.

Pfft. I'm not a truther, and I don't think RP will get assassinated, and then I make a comment about silver and I'm nuts.

Silver has too much of a 'silver tongue', slick politician conotation. Anybody else feel that way, or just my nutty self?

Putting images of people on currency smacks of monarchism and should be avoided. We fought a revolution about such things. This was the traditional understanding of our Republic until this century. Bring back Walking Liberty! Maybe with Carol Paul's face?

On the reverse..........

"If you don't hold it, you don't own it"... Ponce

or.....

"To hold is to own"... Ponce

Novelty / Publicity item

You made a good point...partly the appeal is the coins to draw attention to the idea of sound money and the campaign, not as new currency.
