Ron Paul defends Romney

he should defend him. the comment was taken wildly out of context, and mitt defended ron when he was asked what he thought about the newsletter controversy. no one should be jumping on mitt for that. it was not even close to the point of what he was saying.

I agree with Paul here..the attacks on Romney aren't really fair on this issue

There are a lot of things to attack Romney on, but this isn't really one of them

I wish Paul had more skill in pivoting these silly "he-said-she-said" questions into promotions of his own candidacy.

"Congressman Paul. Romney said he likes sunsets. Your thoughts?"

"That piece of scum. Why does he hate the sun?"

Yet another example of just how decent and honest our candidate is. He could have spun this to his advantage like Huntsman the creep did.

I like the truthfulness and reasonableness of Dr. Paul in this discussion. It shows that he has a cool head and a lot of wisdom, whereas, it shows Gingrich is a time bomb and not prone to cool-headed decisions. :)

I sometimes wish he has a little more spin doctor in him too but then I remember that it is his authenticity that is the ultimate source of his real strength.

It is a complete BS story, completely taking Romney's comments out of context. good for Ron.
Yea Ron will attack him with substance not like Huntsman or the others who are using this gafe (which isn't a gafe really...) to portray Romney as someone who enjoyed firing people at Bain which I doubt highly he did. Firing people is what any manager has to do.

Did anyone else hear Dana Bash at the end start to say "Are you afraid of Jon Huntsman?"

So annoying.

He should have. He should have spun it against HUntsman, since they seem to be fighting for the same undecided voters.

When I asked Paul if he was worried at all that Jon Huntsman could beat him and come in second place, he smiled incredulously, and said, “I’m not worried at all. No way!” It’s clear that Paul is expecting a different ending tonight than he had in Iowa, when he had a disappointing third-place finish.
