Ron Paul defends Romney

Ron Paul is so principled that he defends Romney even when its not in his best short term intrest. Shows what a boass he is!

OMG. So not only is he refusing to attack him, he's defending him? Yet he goes after Gingrich, Santorum, Perry, and the rest full throttle?

Are you serious. WOWOOWOWOWO

Relax dude. Ron isn't Newt. If he is asked about Bain, he's going to tell the truth.

It is a complete BS story, completely taking Romney's comments out of context. good for Ron.

Newt is anti-capitalism.

While maybe not politically the best move, the fact is that Paul tells the truth once again.

It isn't his job to defend Romney. That is Romney and his campaign. I actually saw Romney defend himself and then Ron defend Romney....Ron did MUCH greater defending Romney than Romney did himself.

I agree. It shows principle, people like it. I really can't comprehend why would anyone want to attack Romney on that statement. Its a political suicide in the republican field.

He was giving his opinion when asked. He didn't rush to defend Romney or anything. If he was asked about Romney's record or positions, he would have given a much different answer.

The comment didn't have anything to do with Bain; Romney was talking about the advantages of a competitive marketplace over a one size fits all government solution.
