Ron Paul Coast to Coast

Coast listeners just blew the server for the THRIVE MOVEMENT website since the creators are on for discussion now. Funny how they have a habit of doing that.Talking about the banking system, UN, Senate...caller questions coming up after China and the dollar/gold discussion.

Imagine if Ron had the chance to put his campaign site up as these guests do during an interview. Talk about a money bomb. Heh. Silly wabbits.

Coast to coast, you say?

That's funny. :)

Hey, they're still Ron Pauling the discussion to death though. That's a good thing.

BTW, I grew up near Blacksburg. Actually Damascus. Family founded the place a long time ago. Small world...

So Ron just came up in discussion....again. Speaking about the fractured American Dream, and how our freedom and prosperity can be restored. It's been a great discussion so far.

Listen live. http://www.newsradioklbj.com/Other/Stream.html

Was glad to hear someone discuss the thousands in attendance at recent rallies, support for the statesman, as well as acknowledge the reality that the Ron Paul Revolution is " a decade away from completion".

Thanks, Coast.

I turned on my computer just to check if there was a thread about this as I was just hearing C2C. Thanks for updating this thread. :D

Are you crazy? That type of show is absolute trash and only dumbs down people. It's disgusting the trash they spew, just look into Shadow People. I put it on the same level as John Edwards. All they do is prey upon the weak minded and give these fantastical explanations with no evidence. This would be political suicide to be associated with that (fill in the blank).

We should ban it!

... Seriously though, Ron had a 1hr interview with Noory in 2008... he did very well. Noory is a huge fan, and very anti-fed and pro-gold/silver.

Uh-oh. Gold standard and the monetary system now.

Those crazy people at Coast. Whoda thunkit? Loonies, they are. Sheesh.

Good to hear a young vet of Iraq got through on the line and reassured the audience of his faith in Ron Paul after that tough story he had regarding his unemployment.

Constitutional Declaration of war being discussed now? What are these fools thinking?

Oh well. I'm going to bed.

Sure hope the naysayers lay off that instant TEA. Nothing like the real stuff that the stateman brewed up a ways back. You know?

LoL

So, Noory is too "dangerous" as is Alex Jones.

Hannity is openly hostile, an Limbaugh ignores us.

FTL is probably out because they are anacaps.

So who does that leave?

First off, according to Talkers Magazine, Coast to Coast has 3 million weekly listeners, it ranks 16th on their list. Other reports show that it attracts 4.5 million listeners. And while it is the most listened to overnight talk show, we need to keep it in perspective that it is pretty much the only overnight talk show. I listen to the show, and while it is entertaining, it really is not the type of place for Ron to advance his agenda. Sure it has a captive overnight audience, but reaching out to the Area 51 crowd is the type of strategy we have been employing. The Paul campaign needs to reach out to the mainstream of America. The folks listening to George Noory talk about zombies, crop circles and Big Foot aren't going to be the ones that will help catapult us to the nomination.

After a session discussing a bigfoot-like creature in Okalahoma/Arkansas just last night, George interviewed a guy who was talking about the economy and they both were really talking up Ron Paul and saying that he is the only candidate who is willing to address the issues our country faces, including the notion of American Empire. George pointed out that RP has been on his show several times and expressed admiration for the man.

Actually, it goes like this.

In the first half, lecturer and commentator Charles Goyette spoke about the fractured American Dream, and how our freedom and prosperity can be restored. It's been 52 months since the recession began, and the worst may be yet to come, he warned. The median income of the American worker has fallen 12% for the college educated, and a staggering 47% for those with high-school educations. To restore freedom and prosperity in the US, a number of issues have to be confronted, he argued. The first is to rein in the practice of "crony capitalism," which he described as the strong ties between bankers, corporate execs, and colleagues in high government posts (both Republican & Democrat) that end up negatively impacting the economy. He cited Robert Rubin as an example of a 'crony capitalist'-- he was co-chairman of Goldman Sachs, then became Clinton's Treasury Secretary, and afterward joined Citibank, encouraging them to take on more risk. Goyette also listed the Federal debt, the US military empire, and the failing dollar monetary system as challenges that people need to be informed about and seek to reform. -- From Coast.

I for one am thankful that they spent a good deal of time discussing Ron in the context of these important issues. Was good for those listeners to hear. Was also a blessing for some who had questions to call in and keep discussion on Ron relative to the subject.

I'll post it later. It's around two hours of discussion or so.

I've listened to pieces of that show, and thought it was good, if not hilarious at times.

George Noory is like a radio-broadcast psychologist to all the absolute crazies out there. It makes for great radio.

Caller: "I change into a wolf at night, but not every night! Only when Mercury is in Full Retrograde."
Noory: "Interesting, so what do you forage on?"
Caller: "uhh well, plants mostly, but also berries!"
Noory: "Well that sounds healthy! Thanks for calling."

People are scared of Ron Paul already, I don't think associating him with the Ancient Astronaut Theory is going help that image. We have to get Ron in front of the mainstream, not the fringe.

Sometimes they get serious though. In fact, more often than not these days. It's beneficial that the guests that they have are experts in their perspective fields.

You'll get news from them months in advance of it showing up in the main stream. Dare I say here even? I mean you see how long it took for a thread about foreign countries purchasing election results contracts for the US. This was news months ago among those who pay attention.

The massive following of listeners there who are awake and aware far out numbers those of the usual Ron Paul crowd. Some of the responses I see here reflect why they choose to separate themselves from the Revolution, I guess.

Regardless, they be OK. And I think they know it.

Mainstream is the fringe these days. Keep playing problem reaction solution with them and see how far it gets you.
