Ron Paul Coast to Coast

Tonight on coast during the first half (roughly a couple of hours) Jesse Ventura will discuss how the ineptitude and gang-like mentalities of both US political parties have allowed corporations, businesses, and politically-motivated wealthy individuals to manipulate elections, bribe officials, and silence the average American voter. (in true context though "average voter" means the natural citizen as opposed to those entities that claim citizenship and the gift of constitution). Eventually maybe folks will comprehend that reality because if they don't they're simply peeing into the wind, I think, and conforming to the establishment controlling the terms of controversy as well as promoting the idea.

The Statesman should be a large aspect of discussion.

Now, yes, I know, a lot of closet establishment GOP'rs who frequent here would be content with only hearing from him on a mainstream platform whereas he would quickly be interrupted by the pundit on the other side of the chair or using their platform to reframe the issues and make these speakers look foolish for the benefit of the establishment platform and that's very...telling, I think, of the lack of loyalty to getting the word out relative to the cause of Liberty to the folks who wouldn't otherwise hear it.

With Coast though we don't have to worry about that. Right? Right!

Preserving Freedom

Founder of the Sons of Liberty Academy, Christopher Duane, is a U.S. Marine and venture capitalist who became a self-made millionaire by age 30. He'll discuss why movements such as Occupy and the Tea Party don't get to the heart of what changes are needed to preserve freedom and independence from the forces of the world that prey on ignorance and insecurity.
First Hour: Media strategist Mathew Gross talks about the rise of apocalyptic thinking in America.

07-18-12 Katherine Albrecht is a consumer privacy expert and VP of startpage.com, the world's most private search engine. She'll discuss the latest technologies being used to track not only products but humans, and their movement and activity.

Activity means a lot of things, btw. Especially with the recent popularity of moneybombing all over the www. Get it?

Like him or not, Jesse Ventura did a really good job at explaining the ways of th two party system recently on Coast. Although he tried to make a case for folks to jump on th GJ bandwagon it was quite the discussion.

Appearing during the middle two hours, former wrestler, actor, governor, and bestselling author, Jesse Ventura, shared his contention that the ineptitude and gang-like mentalities of both the Republicans and the Democrats have allowed corporations, businesses, and politically-motivated wealthy individuals to manipulate elections, and silence the average American voter. The Democrats and Republicans deliberately discourage third party candidates, and make it difficult for them to participate in the presidential debates, he noted. These two big parties are "very much like pro-wrestling," he commented. "In front of the public they're adversaries and they're going to kill each other, while behind the scenes they're working together-- they're business partners."The two-party system keeps people stupid, with conservatives automatically voting for Republicans, and liberals voting for Democrats, without considering the individual merits of each candidate, he continued. In the upcoming November presidential election, it doesn't matter who wins-- we'll still get the same policies, he argued (Ventura said he is supporting the Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson). If Ventura were President, among the things he said he'd do is close America's foreign military bases, enact campaign finance reform to eliminate the "system of bribery," and abolish income tax and switch to a national sales tax.

Jesse comes in at the 39:13 mark and continues for the remainder of the two hour discussion.

As always, you won't hear this kind of discussion on any msm platform. Right?

The only thing I can think of this entire thread.

Yep. That's the beauty of it I guess though. Perhaps even why such discussion isn't attacked or even acknowledged by the main stream crowd. If they did then they would have to explain exactly why they think the discussion is screwy. But it isn't so they won't.

All truth passes through three stages, you know. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. So they say at least...

C2C is either utter garbage or great radio. Depends on the guest. Noory has starter getting too involved, though. It used to be just an open forum, now it's much more editorial.

That could be said. But those listeners get things done when it's crunch time. Often on issues that folks don't even know exist. Many that are even left from contemporary libertarian speak that I sometimes read here. But yes, you're right about the half and half.

You know, that young lady who is having problems over at the Daily Paul and would like to get the word out about the Tampa crowd would do well to get hold of the show. She really would. It's easy. Just send an e-mail to the Producer stating your name, phone number, the area of your expertise or the nature of your experience. If it sounds like something worth talking about on Coast to Coast AM, the producer will call you. It's that easy. Write to: [email protected].

There is enough support here to make it so. That's how radio works.

Unless folks think mainstream will help them out.

what about this?

Does George Noory still interview aliens on his show?

This is not Noory's strong suit. He doesn't seem to believe in this stuff nor does he seem to get genuinely excited about it (this was Art Bell's genius). But Noory is fully jazzed about the NWO conspiracy and is a great host in this context. He had Pat Buchanan totally talking NWO conspiracy theory one night when I happened to be listening.

Art Bell simply rocked back in the late 90's. "If you are the antichrist we want to hear from you....our lines are open...West of the Rockies you're on the air..."

He's on with Jerome Corsi now. Interesting discussion.

Since I saw this thread come up, just wanted to add I woke up during a nice exchange between Ventura and Noory. Basically a mutual Ron Paul appreciation thing.

Yeah, I sleep with the radio on.

Currently on Coast Registered nurse and talk show host, Joyce Riley, talks about the rise in vets' suicides. Has been one heck of a discussion relevant to a broad scope of affairs concerning vets and what is happening with them. It's so broad that the vet's have their own court system. How many knew that?

Was glad to hear that when it came to speaking of msm's ignorance in reporting that coast got it done and in a critical manner. Was equally refreshing to hear discussion relevant to current affairs with the facebook scenario we have happening. Although not specific to the case, it's been a great discussion on how these folks snap. Some disturbing revelations less discussed regarding the politics and war of it all.

It's kind of sad to listen to but good that millions are hearing intelligent discussion on it.

You might be able to catch the end of it if you listen now. If not, maybe youtube but if it's posted I'd assume it to be infringement.

Actually there is one more hour left but the meat and potatoes have passed, I think. Perhaps not. Who knows.

Also her web site for anyone interested in the work. http://www.gulfwarvets.com/

Edit -- My gosh. A vet just called in repeating the same language that the vet displayed in some of the writings I've seen posted around here. The moderators had to scatter for a second there.

I'm listening and she's talking about compensation for agent orange messing up their health. My brother thinks he was exposed at Camp Casey, but the VA emphatically denies it.

Ron Paul discussion winding up. Is good to be reminded that folks like the Captain see and promote waking up to the fact that Ron Paul's heart does indeed bleed for them when he say's it does and is trying to bring awareness to those who are less informed as to why more vets support his position more than any other current challenger for office. These vets face a host of issues well beyond the over sensationalized effects of facebook and the lot. Can almost excuse the msm for not reporting on it in retrospect.

Sounded like there are a lot of those vets discussing that very situation tonight too. Cannot hurt to bookmark her web site and pass it on. Genuine help is out there in getting through the problem alone. She seems to have a respectable amount of experience in the issues less discussed. Cannot believe the one vet flew all of those years behind the spray but since he never touched foot on actual ground he gets nothing. Just pain.

Ms. Riley served as a Captain in the United States Air Force and flew on C-130 missions in support of Operation Desert Storm. She now serves as spokesperson for the American Gulf War Veterans Association who's purpose is to provide education and information for the Gulf War veterans and their families and to seek treatment for the illnesses that thousands of Gulf War veterans now suffer from.

Ms. Riley is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her nursing career includes clinical positions of Staff Nurse, Patient Care Systems Analyst, Utilization Review, Nursing Instructor and Director of Nursing of an acute care hospital, long term care facility and home care agency. Her areas of nursing specialty are nursing administration, medical-surgical nursing and organ transplantation. She has presented at the National Institutes of Health, medical legal conferences such as the American Trail Lawyers Association, was host of her own radio talk show "Nurse Talk Radio-The Truth in Health Care", and has guested on over 1500 radio and television shows, including Art Bell, Chuck Harder and Michael Reagan.

While employed at Bexar Count Hospital, San Antonio, Ms. Riley became involved in nursing medical malpractice issues after learning that Nurse Genene Jones was responsible for deaths of many babies in the well publicized "Baby Death" case. She has served as consultant and testifying expert for both plaintiff and defense medical malpractice cases for the last ten years.

Anyhoo. Her segment is over. Was a great couple of hours if anyone is interested in listening later some place. Will definately be in the coast archives like all other discussion and as such it cannot be said that some did and said nothing.
