To all of the christians on the forum:

This July 4th we will find ourselves in perhaps the most perilous national situation since the days of our glorious revolution and it is in times of peril that we must put our faith in God and seek his guidance.

So I am respectfully asking that this July 4th, all christians on this forum and in this movement join me for an hour of prayer to humbly ask God for not only his guidance in our struggle but to place protection around all of our candidates and to bless all of our efforts. I am a firm believer that group prayer can work wonders so please at least consider it. If we are ever to retake this country than we will need God on our side.

MODERATOR NOTE: Please allow this thread to remain on-topic to the thread's intent. All off-topic posts WILL be removed, per forum guidelines. Thanks.

Although I am not a Christian, I will join you in silent meditation for freedom from the tyrannical State.

Regards,

Good initiative. Although I've been talking to God informally on various domestic/foreign policy issues, will try to join on 4th of July. Many Americans sadly seem behind the curve on this and bit too detached to God lately or we won't be where we are today as I think God has been trying to communicate to us also through recent political changes in America.

I would request that we all also pray that may God bring other non-RP Christians in America to the true path of Jesus and give them wisdom so that mistakes like "Land Letter" do never happen again in America.

Liberty Eagle,

You said prayer request are off-topic in this thread. So why is Liberty Star’s prayer request ("I would request that we all also pray that may God bring other non-RP Christians in America to the true path of Jesus") allowed? You deleted mine thrice.

That wasn't your earlier prayer request and you know it. Please stop trying to take this thread off-topic.

LE seems to be showing religious bias in her moderation activities.

I'm in for the prayer everyday up to, the day and the day after the day mentioned.

Edited for removal of off topic content.

I would applaud her banning the shit out of you.

I'm sure you would, since most "Christian Conservatives" always want to dictate people's lives and their speech. If you don't like my opinions, tough luck. You and the "911 Truthers" get angry at me for speaking the truth, but that doesn't faze me in the least. I wear it as a badge of honor.

This thread was not started for the purpose of attacking anyone or shoving specific beliefs down anyone's throat. I, as a Christian and a Ron Paul Revolutionary, have prescribed to the belief that people have free will to do what they want. I believe my God has given people free will in their choice to serve him and I believe that our Constitution gives us this same free will to live our lives as we see fit while as mortal beings. If you do not want to join in this than fine. If I am the only one who does it than fine but I pray everyday for the restoration of my Republic and for those who violate our Constitution and I would love to see a large number of people from here and throughout the movement just stop what they are doing for just a few moments on one day and give thanks for what we have accomplished and humbly ask for guidance and protection as we move forward. If you think that is silly than so be it but can you please leave those of us who find it valid alone?

I was reading Psalm 17 and this thread came to mind. We trust in our Lord Jesus to defend us in ways that are incomprehensible as we don't usually see the direct working of spiritual forces unless they manifest themselves. He will "fight" for us in the manner of His choosing. The opening section is our relationship with the Lord followed by His greatness and ability to help. Lastly, comes the section outlining the need and justification for help with the satisfaction that we will be transformed by the process itself. Although, we see the need for divine intervention as the most important part in this battle for liberty, the most important is our actual transformation through the process of seeking God's help. Maybe, we need changing as constitutional liberty is restored... God's big enough to work multiple avenues simultaneously.

1 Hear a just cause, O LORD,
Attend to my cry;
Give ear to my prayer which is not from deceitful lips.
2 Let my vindication come from Your presence;
Let Your eyes look on the things that are upright. He knows the motives

3 You have tested my heart;
You have visited me in the night;
You have tried me and have found nothing;
I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
4 Concerning the works of men,
By the word of Your lips,
I have kept away from the paths of the destroyer.
5 Uphold my steps in Your paths,
That my footsteps may not slip. He's tested and directed

6 I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God;
Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech.
7 Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand,
O You who save those who trust in You
From those who rise up against them.
8 Keep me as the apple of Your eye;
Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,
9 From the wicked who oppress me,
From my deadly enemies who surround me. He hears and protects (humans are merely vehicles for spirits)

10 They have closed up their fat hearts;
With their mouths they speak proudly.
11 They have now surrounded us in our steps;
They have set their eyes, crouching down to the earth,
12 As a lion is eager to tear his prey,
And like a young lion lurking in secret places. The oppression of the wickedly powerful to fulfill their motives

13 Arise, O LORD,
Confront him, cast him down;
Deliver my life from the wicked with Your sword,
14 With Your hand from men, O LORD,
From men of the world who have their portion in this life,
And whose belly You fill with Your hidden treasure.
They are satisfied with children,
And leave the rest of their possession for their babes. Call for help to defeat the motives of the wickedly powerful

15 As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness;
I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness. The transformation by the process of seeking God's help, e.g. humility and trust -- major attributes of Jesus Christ as incarnate God

Although, I'm not done yet, my emotions have been all over the place today. I'm not sure what that really means, but the outlook doesn't look good if others feel the same. Where does emotional instability lead? Personally, I'll be able to control the expression of it with the Lord's help, but I'm just concerned if others are feeling similarly.
