Ron Paul campaign statement on Louisiana GOP convention

Want to do something effective. Write a letter explaining what happened in detail add that with a dvd of all videos of the convention you can find. Then mail that material to every elected official in Lousiana or anyone else you think is relevant. Torchbearer wants to create a chipin for supplies and postage I've got $25 on it!

i'm worn out. total burn out.
i'm taking a break. my goal has been accomplished.
deliver a majority of delegate to ron paul from my state.
someone else needs to hit the media up. i can provide info on what happen. but beyond that. my hermitage awaits.

they care about what the voters wanted in the primary?
what happen in 2008 when huckabee won our primary but mccain got all the delegates at convention. they didn't seem too concerned then about getting delegates to match the primary vote.
someone needs to bring this fact up, it will make it obvious that the crap they are spewing is just political speak.

I completely understand, you guys deserve a break, and rep for the hard work. I was just trying to get the people who sit in these threads and complain all day to do something about it. This wasn't directed completely at you, it's just after reading all the posts on this thread, you seem to be the most credible. Something to think about, if you know someone willing to do this, start a chipin, I'll throw some cash your way.

thank you very much. Over the next week or so, please do check in, since we will be collecting information and will better know what we need. We WILL need statements and clarification of facts. I have been sending this to Brad Blog (investigates voting irregularities) and the reporters at other conventions who were tweeting yesterday, hoping it would show up in their coverage in their own states. Did someone already get it to Ben Swann? I did see people tweeting it to Maddow.

That happens every time the 'presumed nominee' isn't the one the state voted for. The LAST thing they want is an actual debate of issues at the RNC, yet I'm sure the reason the RNC and DNC get taxpayer money is they are supposed to be furthering voter input into the process.....

Apparently Romney's campaign sd they'd support our guys at credentials committee in LA, but whether that is because of the massive video present, I don't know. I also don't know if it will continue to remain the case up until August.

The last thing the official Romney campaign wants to do is "loose" us even though most wont vote for him anyway. If the Romney camp believes they have it all locked up there is no reason to fight on.

Oh, come on now. You don't expect our charter members of the "Old Ladies Club" to do something productive? They are "keyboard" activists and that kind of stuff is beneath them.

What a surprise. The LAGOP (and the GOP at large obviously) doesn't know the difference between a democracy and a constitutional republic.

Or rather, they don't care since a democracy enhances their ability to maintain power.

Edit: Yes, I realize that that mainly pertains to the Presidency and this is within the Party, but I imagine they would apply the "tidying up of rules" at the Presidential level if the need arose there as well.

What they don't realize also is that this is how a republic is ran.They are arguing for democracy.They don't realize that if its a full blown democracy the Republican party will be history.
