I found Ron Paul in an unconventional manner as well. I stumbled upon a video of him criticizing the Federal Reserve back in late 2006 from Digg.com, not by direct mail, robocalls, or a door to door volunteer. So please keep in mind that I know full well that unconventional tactics have brought a lot of good people into the movement, myself included.
My original point still stands, that our focus should now be on conventional political strategies. We've built our base, and now we need to effectively utilize it.
I reject the notion that we should just let people do what they are comfortable with. This is the future of our country and our livelihood is at stake, and we are already at a huge disadvantage. We have a moral obligation to win. With that in mind, I will do everything I can to influence others to use their resources toward what history has shown to be the most effective methods and strategies for winning.
