Why don't I see the Libertarian Party on that list??

Just got off the phone with the LALP chairman.
They don't have all their paperwork in to get Barr on the ballot in Louisiana.
They have until tomorrow, but their elector in shreveport is awol and without his paperwork they will have to back the Paul/Goldwater ticket.
Plus, I got them to commit to our precinct program.
That is a huge force.

Any chance of getting the constitution party to do the same?
doubt it, when it really comes down to it... the guys running these parties put their party above principle and country.
I've called out the LALP on such behavior, and a few have taken a step back to look at what they are doing.
I'm not talking about their general membership, but just the people at the very top of the parties in each state.
In fact, they would be insulted if you asked them to back Ron's ticket at the cost of not having their own guys on there.
very frustratingwhat is your avatar from???? curious i am
The LALP is dominated by Reformers--not Radicals. You can ask Brent to confirm that, but im almost positive it is true.
If they dont get Barr on the ballot, then I hope they'll back our ticket. If they do--I will personally ask the LACP to drop their candidates and back us.
torchbearer,
That sounds fine. But we need to make sure everyone heres about it. I'll hit my local lists, including the college ones, but I have no extensive state-wide connections.
torch,
i agree. Fundraising should be put up front. We should hope for, and expect, help from ron paul forums people--this is an exciting event where they can really help.
But we should also put a few events in place, especially opportunities for barry goldwater, walter block, and some other guys to speak to an energetic crowd. My best suggestion is a rally in baton rouge where barry goldwater jr., dr. Walter block, the state leader of campaign for liberty, and a few other guys can speak to a decent sized crowd. You pay $10 to get in and/or we simply ask for donations.
Yardsigns are an important part and should feature our website prominently, as we want to drive all traffic there--so people can figure out what exactly it is we are doing. Radio and tv ads are even more important,as we must make the buys soon.
As for adamt--i'd like his help. I am incapable of running the financial end of this thing, im too disorganized and have too little time.

torch,
"to convene in Alexandria" makes it sound like a Liberty Summit. =)
What are the immediate aspects that need attending to?
