Ron Paul all over the news

Wow, it's surprising how many positive comments are on there, from people who say they don't even like Ron Paul but agree with him on this.

he is now being handed an elder statesman's mantle and degree of respect that to me is
rather like barry goldwater's that he never recieved from them during the recent debates!!!

and the left is frantic, McDonnell or Oconnell, Lawrence, anyhow (I forget his last name) on msnbc had a huge smear piece on Ron saying Ron was lying for calling armored vehicles tanks (they sure looked like tanks) and for suggesting people weren't completely voluntarily acting at the request of police.

See rebuttal:

I don't think anyone would consider what Ron said to be much of a stretch except using a very technical distinction of tanks

God bless the yahoo commenters. I've never been one on that particular front.

99% of the comments on the hate-piece's have been pro-Paul. The editors are liars and propagandists.

A guy at work who's not political but knows I like Ron Paul just brought this up. I was surprised he was aware of what Ron Paul said since he's not political. He didn't really offer his opinion but got the feeling he didn't agree with what Ron Paul said.

He's all over the news now because no on has to fear that he will gain any political position of power anymore. No need for media blackout.

Well let's hope that bites them all in the ass when he gets people fired up for his son.

My comment:

I highly recommend that people read the comments of those who have immigrated to America from suppressive and communist countries and learn what they think of this excessive overreach by our new police state. They know and recognize tyranny when they witness it.

Is it just me or are the comments not really that encouraging? I only see a few people arguing against this with many saying we're paranoid, defending the police, or having the watered-down opinion that the operation wasn't "handled the right way", etc.
