politics is a word used to describe the action of men in controlling others.
its not something you just decide you aren't part of- it is force on you.
everywhere you go through the day- the results of politics is weighing upon you. when i need to cope with the scope of how much of this crap interferes with my every minute of life- i sometimes pretend that i can just ignore it...
but that never last long.

No argument there. But I still don't think it will be improved through politics. Too many politicians are willing to give handouts to too many uneducated citizens who are making it all worse by the minute.

I think a lot of people are missing the point of this thread.

No one is DEMANDING that Ron run again in 2016. No one is implying that Ron deserves less than to do whatever he wishes to do going forward.

That said, there are those of us who would give 110% of ourselves to Ron's campaign IF he decided to run again, even though I think we all realize that he won't.

Why is that so hard?

Ron didn't want to run last time but did so because there was no one else to keep the movement afloat and expanding. In his mid-70s, he invested extreme amounts of energy just to keep us all involved. Now, to even expect him to exert that kind of energy as an 80 yr old is just downright disgraceful, insulting and selfish. Earth to the puritans, he gave us Rand, Justin, Thomas, Cruz, Sanford and maybe Broun in Senate. So, he's done his job tho I still hope he continues endorsing. Let him chill and do his podcast, his channel and his orgs. And stop divisive threads.

Without knowing anything much about Broun, I can agree with you on most of these, but honestly, Ted Cruz is a curse, not a blessing.

I'm not a "Purist", at least not in the sense of being unwilling to support anyone other than Ron. I support Rand Paul. I support Justin Amash. I support Thomas Massie. I don't know anything about this Broun guy. I currently support Mike Lee. But Cruz is just awful. He's clearly not even in line with the Rand Paul type "libertarian" moderate segment of the GOP on foreign policy, he's between THAT and neo-conservatism. That, and he's only been in the senate 4 months. He's going to be corrupted even more in his time there. I don't trust him and I'll never support him.

With due respect to Ron Paul, I believe he made a big mistake there.

I think you need to re-read what I wrote. That just sounds like wishful thinking to me, still not a demand. Nothing wrong with hoping he runs IMO.

Well, I disagree. It's not unlike how every NFL team has fans who think their team has a chance to win it all this year. But realistically, only a few have a real shot.

I love Ron for what he did and what he is doing but I don't want him to run again. Generally speaking I think he gained all he could from that strategy.

He's always been right and he's always spoke the truth but his performances did suffer over the years. In 2012, Ron was never as quick as he was in 2008.

it means i hope he does, anyone denying the fact it would help to have more voices on the debate stage in the gop primary are ignoring my main point, either way i am in 110% for Ron Paul 2016 and what you and others think about it does not matter! I hope Ron Paul runs in 2016 to bring more voices to the table! If Ron Paul does not run i will look elsewhere for sure.

They will try to dilute support for Rand with added Neocons in the race but having both father and son in the race will get their message to reach more people and talking points more air time.

At the right time Ron throws his support to Rand pushing him into the lead or back into the lead from whatever tactics they used to try to take him down.

voting down this thread didn't stop him from running in 2012. Ron Paul 2016 can't hurt! i guess you folks would rather have the neo-cons out number liberty candidates on the debate stage.
