People see Santorum isn't going anywhere. If you can't put delegate slates on the ballot in Ohio and Illinois, why should people give up their money and their time for that? That basic "Running For President 101" how to get on the ballot.

We can complain about the lack of a campaign presence in Florida but at least RP has dedicated grassroots persons on the ground there. What's Santorum got? Nothing. Ergo its pretty much it. He wouldn't have won anything in Iowa if it wasn't for a bunch a ward heelers telling people where to put their votes. If no one does that in SC, then he's done for.
