am i the only one who thinks ron paul crashed in this debate? i agree with him and know what he's trying to say, but he's not articulating the views AT ALL... he lost this debate, last place... i wish it weren't so but that's just an objective view.
I think there was at least silent agreement among the other candidates to laugh at him and mock him. That worked in the first half. In the second half, he said some things they couldn't possibly disagree with.
He was right in the beginning, but allowed himself to be pushed around, and did not come out of the corner swinging. He looked weak. Weak is not what people vote for.
The Constitution answer was what turned his whole debate around - he was given a huge opening to his bread and butter and nailed it. He was a different man after that, and the healthcare question afterwards showed it.
Fantastic debate, much better than some of the other ones.
I hate to say it, but not having Tancredo, Hunter, etc. helped Paul out a lot. The contrast between "him" and "them" was so stark, and combined with his killer middle and close, could only have done good.
