He gave an honest answer.

Clearly we're thinking of two different Mitt Romneys

I personally don't think there was ANY spin or strategy on Romney's kind words for the good doctor. He meant it all the way.

Fact is, Paul has defended Romney during both 2008 and 2012 campaigns for different reasons.

Back in 2008 he argued that Romney's religion should not be made an issue of or used to slur him.
During this run he said he thought Romney's pro-life conversion was sincere as opposed to flipflops of others on different issues.

The answer is Oblahma, because he will keep their ponzi scheme going and continue to steal the wealth of the American people and subjugate them under what is soon to be a complete police state. Paul is not out to be president so much as he is out to save the republic. This is our last chance to save the republic. It will be totally gone before the 2016 election. Anyone other than Paul will finish us off. Trust me, the Republican power brokers will welcome Oblahma over Paul.

People here make a habit of bashing people when they compliment Ron. Whether he was playing a game or not, it doesn't matter.

1) We aren't going to Romney
2) Over 7,000,000 people saw him compliment Ron

Since everyone is pushing the BS "Romney wants Ron to win Iowa" meme, this is just an extension of it.

Wasn't dr. paul's answer to the "oath" question also a subtle hit on Romney, considering Romneys latest tv ads about how long he has been married? Where he said it shouldn't be something you have to talk about but should show through naturally...
